I like best buy because it always has this filter in stock whenever I have needed to purchase one. This filter does everything it says it does and it is long lasting so I dont have to keep replacing it to often. It does make the water taste better also. I defenately let people know about the filter. Thanks Doreen

From our previous homes, the fridges we've owned, we've always had this particular filter and it's easy to install. The quality isn't as great as our at sink Aquasana filter, but it's fine for the purposes of making ice primarily.

I use it for my GE refrigerator. It's pretty simple to install and makes sure better tasting water.

This filter is a bit expensive, but I do use it longer than manufacturer says to. It is easy to install.

I can definitely tell the difference when using this filter vs no filter. It totally removes the chlorine taste. I can actually get twice the life out of it. When the “replace filter” light comes on I just reset it thinks it is a new filter.

You only have so many options for your fridge filter. I know Best Buy makes Insignia filters for some models, but apparently not this one - at least not at my store. I'm going to keep looking - previous experience says the off-brand will work just the same for less money.

Good Water Filter replacement. It worked well with my GE Profile. I would recommend it.

This filter is definitely not the cheapest option. I have bought the best buy brand and you can definitely tell this filter works a little better. Usually last about 6 months for me.

The GE original water filter does what it is supposed to do. You have spent a lot of money on the fridge, spend the bit extra to ensure filtered water for your ice maker and drinking water. What you save on bottled water will more than make up the cost of the filter!

This water filter is very easy to install and I like the fact that it is name brand. Being able to purchase it through Best Buy with my Best Buy credit card and utilizing the easy replenish is a great way to not have to remember to reorder.

I have been purchasing this GE fridge filter as long as I owned this appliance. I always use the OEM products on any appliance I own. I found out if you use a sub product? You get what you paid for! The water taste great and I can tell the difference with out it.

These are pretty good filters but a little on the pricy side for what you get. The do last quite a long time so it's probably cheaper than a pitcher with a filter in the long run.

This filter is easy to install, even for the unhandy like me. Provides great tasting water.

we have had this fridge for about 2 years, and before we got it I never could get my kids to drink much water, but now they do. And about half my household guests prefer the water to any other option, pop, juice, kool-aid whatever. Definitely worth it...

What can I say, the filter is made for our fridge, and it fit. There was a little dribble when I removed the by-pass plug to put this in, but nothing of significance. Got this because I didn't know if the new fridge had one - it did, so I have a spare for the 3 month change.

We believe in filtered water and drink it ALOT! However, this brand is the only kind we can use for our fridge and is hard to find. It's never stocked in the shelves! We are lucky to get one! We usually have to "stock up" forcing us to have to buy the last two on the shelf because they are hard to find. Every time we go in to check, there is a small space on the shelf as if the store only carries a total of 2-4. The price is insane. To bad there isn't a universal or generic one, otherwise, I'm sure if buy it! And they don't last 6 months! We find ours to last about very 4, stretch it out to every 9 months and we have a filter system on our main. We tested our water. And found the alkaline balance is off. We invested in the zero water handheld system and found no traces of alkaline. If GE could produce these results, I'd pay the price of 35.99+tax! But as for now, we use our zero more than we do our fridge! And it lasts ALOT LONGER!!
