Purchased to install in new vehicle. Liked the options this dashcam provided for the price. Front & rear recording, 4k & 1080p, parking monitor, hardwire installation kit, and 32gb sd card. All you need to get started. Also 18 month warranty. Look forward to having this extra security for my vehicle.

Fast and easy install. No problems setting everything up. Very clear picture quality.

I purchased the vp1 flex to replace my vp1se mostly because of the form factor of the unit. It's significantly smaller and tuck away better than the SE. The pros.... there are fewer buttons and they are more accessible/straight forward. To access the menu on the SE you have to hit the side button which is black and also almost flush. Navigating through the menu is about the same, but it's just a little easier with them all aligned instead of the SE's odd configuration. The specs are relatively comparable for video, but the most impressive change is the lcd quality. The SE washes out at the angle it's placed on my windshield, but the flex is viewable from all angles and is crystal clear and crisp. There's an ability to add extra camera for left and right which is nice although you need to purchase them from rexing exclusively. My other vehicle has the cabin camera which I have pointed out the passenger side (no reason I figure it's where my worst blind spot is) This kit comes with the smart wiring which I did not really need for the vehicle monitoring, but it cleans up my 12v cigarette adaptor for an extra passenger cell charger instead. The bad...... the only disappointing aspect is you lose the mic control with the press of a button. If you want to turn it on or off you have to navigate through the menu. I don't need to have my conversations recording unless I get pulled over or confronted while inside my car for some particular reason. All in all it was a great upgrade. I much more like the fit on my windshield and the quality of the lcd.

Good quality, ease of installation. Comes with everything out of the box and has clear instructions. I have bought a couple now to put in our new vehicles and am satisfied with the product.

So far so good I have no complaints..just have to learn a couple of more things on how to use it but it looks and works great.

The resolution is great. The screen is a little small but workable. The SD card needed to be replaced because it has a small memory. I still need to hook up the rear cam,

Great camera with solid resolution. Installation was too easy and the app UI is good. Easy to find and download videos.

I saw all the positive reviews for this brand and decided to take the plunge. I’m glad he did because at least for me. I was super nervous. I wouldn’t be able to do it correctly in terms of setting up the hardware, but it was so easy and they have all sorts of customer service available! If you’re on the fence, I say go for it!

It take a little bit of time to install the rear camera (wiring). Very clear image and video even when the sun hit it, or night time. It record the entire view in front of me. I think it as wide as my eye can see. There is indicator light letting me know it's in record mode. Rear camera is a plus for what it worth.
