The front and rear cameras give a very clear picture but I have not been able to consistently connect using the app and wi-fi since purchasing the system. The technician that installed the system couldn't even figure out how to keep the app connected with the cameras. I now have to reach back out to Geek Squad and Rexing to see how to resolve this. I can't recommend the system for others until I know these issues can be resolved. If they can, then I will update my rating.

Dash cams are a must-have in today’s traffic. The image quality of this dash cam is really good; however, if you’re in motion, you will not get a clear view of the license plate most of the time. For insurance purposes, though, this has been invaluable—it saved me when a lady falsely claimed I hit her. After I sent in the video three days later, they determined she was at fault. It also has an app that connects 90% of the time, which is a much better experience than with other dash cams I’ve had

So far, so good! Had in installed for about a month in my Explorer. Installation was not too difficult. Some of the wires to connect the rear still hang out and the clips to hold the cable did not work for me. The tool the slip wires between interior was good and the 3M adhesion works great! The screen feels a bit tiny since they put PIP for front view and rear view in one. Overall, it records while driving and hope I never have to use the video for accidents. Be safe out there!

We upgraded to this camera from an all-in-one camera with front/rear in a single unit. We really like the better rear-coverage camera. The display screen is good. The cameras are so much better than our previous camera that we did not notice for weeks that we had not removed the plastic protection film. The images are even better now. Considering purchasing one for our 20-something daughter now. She was involved in a hit-and-run a few months ago -- and footage would have helped identify the car/driver who hit her.

This is a pretty good Dash cam. Is very easy to install, I mean anyone with common sense and who can follow an instruction manual can do this. Literally connects to your fuse panel and you have to screw in one ground wire to the metal chassis that's right there by the fuse panel. Wires tuck under the headliner easily and the adhesive pads that stick this to the window are pretty strong. DON'T MAKE A MISTAKE ABOUT WHERE YOU WANT THIS LOCATED. You will have one heck of a time trying to get this off the window LOL

The 4k quality doesnt mean much with such a low frame rate of capture. It records at <30 FPS so when your moving things aren't as clear as they could be. However at night it had awesome quality. You can download over wifi the recordings but 4K takes about 10 minutes per 30 second recording. Buy a SD card reader.

Very good quality recodings from front and back cameras. Using with SanDisk 256gb micro SD card without any problems. Some people complained about the wifi connection but you can simply take the card out and watch your recordings on computer screen.

Got it bc I was victim of hit & run and had to pay for my brand new car repairs. I noticed camera screen is always on, even when my car is turned off. I realize it has a parking mode but from what I understood, that is supposed to turn on/activate if the car is hit, not just parked in yard overnight. Will need to take back to Geek Squad to see it it's a setting issue. Other than that, pic looks clear and so far, have not had any negative issues.

This dashcam system has already proven that the other driver was at fault when we were rear-ended. It has worked flawlessly for over a year now. Best Buy did a great job installing it. Highly recommend!

Great images and video quality. Love the front and rear views. Connectivity is a little wonky with the app. But i was able to get it to work on my phone. Unlike many others. DOES NOT do well in the summer heat. Used in WA and didnt get a year out of it before it fried with all the hot summer days. Had to return for a refund as I was unable to get it to turn back on. I checked the power supply and verified that it still had power. The hard wired power supply was still functioning. Hoping a ceramic film on our windows will decrease the internal temperatures of the truck so we can get another dash cam because video is the only way to prove innocence in an accident. Wish it was easier to get a dash cam with a seperate GPS because the heat that GPS unit creates inside of the case is what adds to the already hot summer temps inside of vehicles.

Overall it was a good camera until it stopped working. I’ve had it installed in my truck for about 11 months and it will no longer turn on. Also, the rear camera displays mirrored, of that makes sense. Stuff on the left side of the truck shows on the right side in the display. Really annoying, but not a huge problem. I’d probably give it 4 stars if it hadn’t stopped working in less than a year. Currently, waiting on customer support to either fix or replace.

Very easy to install, little orange tool works wonders for installing the cords. Wish it would’ve come with kit to power directly via fuse box so it could do the parking mode. Video quality is great. Took me about an hour to install.

It works great, it took me about 1hr to installed it properly so the cables wouldn’t be showing but it came out perfectly. It makes us feel good and protected every time we drive and it’s worth it just in case a crash happens.

It is a good daytime camera lacks any sort of night vision like some cheaper version dash cams the add on hard wire kit really is not needed as the camera seems to pick up motion on its own the only advantage is it is hardwired rather than cigarette lighter plug.

Not recommended! The unit constantly disconnects when connected using the Rexing mobile app via Wi-Fi to view the video clips that is saved on the micro SD card. The Rexing app is so buggy and slow. Save yourself a lot of headache and time by getting something else. I have this unit including the Rexing Universal Inteligent Hardwire kit. This is needed if you want the unit to record any motion when the vehicle is parked. You end up having the dash cam in addition to the unit that detects motion. It creates a lot of clutter on your windshield. When you have to run the wiring it also adds more clutter resulting in more clutter. It’s not a clean looking install no matter how much effort you or the installer puts into it. You’ll end up with a mess. I can somewhat deal with the clutter but it’s frustrating when trying to use the Rexing app and the disconnections.

Dash cam works great also had sensor install when parked. The only problem had to format sd card and hoping its is not a weekly thingy. The installation by bestbuy is excellent.

Cameras and system seem ok, but the WiFi app is worthless on my iPhone..for iPhone to connect to dashcam, iPhone or app requires location settings to be enabled but setting doesn't show up in app settings...

Easy to install and the video feed is high quality. Chose 1440 to save space on the SD card. Still more than enough resolution to see small details.

Yes, the wifi and app are a bit clunky. BUT, the camera quality of this dashcam is fantastic and makes up for that ten fold. Don’t use a SanDisk Ultra card, high endurance or max endurance cards work best. Within the first week of install my camera caught one person who almost had a head on collision with my brand new Escalade. I am grateful and very happy with my purchase. I just purchased a second one for my daily driver! Great job Rexing!
