It no longer showed power, and after watching YouTube it was best to purchase a new one. I like the night light feature. I wish there was away to disable motion alerts but keep the tones at the same time.

I do not think that I needed the range extender part and it turns out that my amazon echos can announce motion and/or doorbell rings so I probably did not need the chime. It is fun because there are several ring tones available and I find the Westminster one quite pleasing. Can control volume and easily silence through the app. A bit of a pain to set up but once done works great. All in all, I probably did not need this device for my system and it is pricey if just using the chime feature. However, I did not take off stars because it does what it says it does. Could be easier to set up and change tone so 4 star.

I found that this one has better wifi reception. I also like that I can raise or lower the volume of ring chime to my liking. Night light is also a plus.
