I had a ring doorbell camera that worked great. So I wanted to have another camera that would work on the same app. So far it’s been good. Only issue is sometimes the two way talk might disconnect suddenly.

We are happy to share some tips with you to help you troubleshoot why your Ring Indoor Cam (2nd Gen.) may be experiencing issues with the audio. If your phone or tablet has poor service or internet, it could be affecting "Live View" or your video downloads. As two-way talk is used during "Live View," we recommend testing your connection to ensure that you are getting a good signal. Poor wifi can often cause Ring device issues, including capturing audio. We recommend following these steps in the Ring app: Tap the top menu (☰), then Devices. Choose your Ring Indoor Cam (2nd Gen.). Tap "Device Health." Under the "Network" section, you'll see your device's "Signal Strength." If your "Signal Strength" (RSSI) is amber or red, your Ring device likely has a poor connection to your location's wifi. Try moving your wifi router closer to your Ring device. Reboot your Ring Indoor Cam (2nd Gen.) by following these steps: Open the Ring app. Tap the top menu (☰), then "Devices." Choose your Ring Indoor Cam (2nd Gen.). Tap the "Device Settings" tile. Tap "Device Health." Scroll down and tap "Reboot This Device." Wait a few minutes for your device to reboot.

Works great for spying on my puppy and seeing what he does all day.

This has been a good camera. Teh installation was easy and I was quickly able to connect the camera with the Ring app. It provides a great picture when there is good lighting, but the video is not as good when it is no well-lit.

I rely on Ring for home security

I love everything about the Ring Security system. people love to knock Ring products. they make jokes about how the those who buy and rely on Ring for security are just getting a view of people robbing them.
Clearly, they don't understand how the Ring security system works. if they did, they would understand how it provides the owner the ability to see in real-time and react to protect their home and belongings within minutes. this specific product is great and I buy them whenever they come on sale for indoor and outdoor use.

We use this for our apartment in case any maintenance or contract workers come in without us knowing. We feel safer with it in our home. And we can turn it on/off as we please
