If you need a camera to sit in one place with a great wide view then this is the one for you. It's very easy to setup and more importantly easy to use. The camera also comes with a lens cover in the case one has family and friends over & values their privacy.

Very simple to install and use. Very satisfied with the customer service and the product.

It sounds like you are concerned with the need for the Ring Home Plan subscription. The Ring Home Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. Without a Ring Home Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

We have several inside an outside the house (outside are powered by solar panels) and if there is a power outage, as soon as the network battery backup comes up, the camera connects and fills in the gap for security and safety.
