The canera works great whether day or night. Crisp and clear images. I have teo of them connected to a solar panel and so far no issues. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new outdoor cam or wanting to upgrade from a 1080p one.

The cameras are good but fail to detect movements from time to time. Sometimes it detects the smallest motion, others it misses people walking in front of it. But overall it is a good quality camera with improving opportunities.

I’ve had ring doorbells for years, “first gen” the improvement in the picture quality for this camera and the quickness which you can connect the live view is great, I will definitely be punching another camera to complete my security system.

They are the one of the best cameras I have ever encountered. I used to have blink cameras and they would not work very good and I found ring and I could never go back to blink your cameras are the best. If I could I would give it a 10 out of 10

Had the 1080P flood light in my garage, prior. It was a noticeable difference going to the 2K. This has no flood light like the one it replaced but door door opener lights and low-light sight make it work fine. Plus I got a great price on this, much less than the flood light.
It installed right over the holes for the previous mount. Setup was easy and quick. notifies me of someone in the garage. I have other Ring and Arlo cameras in the house, I recommend this one.

I have a couple of the ring stick-up battery cameras - this one with the enhanced resolution and low light capability is worth the extra $ - much clearer and enhanced picture at night. I took one star off because the USB port for the solar panel connection was not easily found (and no instructions as to where it is located.) The camera also does not apparently detect a non-ring solar panel (purchased because it has longer cord which I needed for the installation location), although the panel appears to be keeping the battery charged.
