Ring Doorbell Pro is an excellent video doorbell choice. We replaced our video doorbell serviced through our alarm company, which barely worked at all. The Ring is far superior. The app works very well. Videos are clear. Connection is stable in my setup. Note that Ring requires at least 3mbps upload for it to work properly. We found that out the hard way. For most people that probably isn’t an issue but we are pretty well maxed out on a dated infrastructure to our home. Easy to install and setup. This bundle was a great value as well. I had some challenges setting up the first one I ordered and Ring support did their best to help but it was determined it was just a defective item. Best Buy, as always, is easy to do business with and I returned to the store and they sent another one out to me. They even refunded the difference as it went on sale for a lower price. We also paired this with the Ring alarm system and we are very happy with it as well. Low cost monitoring that comes with storage for videos for doorbells and cameras as well. While Ring products are a higher price point, the quality is very good and the low cost services make the overall investment an excellent value. Highly recommend.

I have been watching the Ring doorbells since they were first featured on Shark Tank. After reviewing all of the video doorbells, I soon realized the the Ring Pro was the only doorbell for me. The size was perfect and even with newer models on the market, the video quality could not be surpassed. I love that I was able to get it with the chime pro because it also serves as a WiFi extender. I like the different chimes but I do wish there were more. You will need the Rapid Ring app along with the Ring app to get a fast visual on any motion because the Ring app takes entirely too long to load. It’s well worth having both apps. This is a great doorbell. The night vision is great and I have never had a video that was not clear. The neighborhood alerts are a bonus and make me feel safer all around. I would highly recommend this doorbell over all other video doorbells on the market. Just be sure to update your WiFi password regularly and use passwords that can not be easily hacked. I love the different plates that come with the Pro model and I was pleased with being able to match my home. My purchase came with the Echo Show5 which made my purchase even more valuable because I can simply ask Alexa to show me my front or back door and the timing is quick. It’s awesome in the middle of the night when I get a motion alert.

This Ring Doorbell Pro is amazing! My wife loves it. It goes very well with our Echo Show! If we’re on the other side of the house, we know when someone’s at the door. The included Chime is a bonus! Got this on sale for $199 and it is a great investment! It includes different faceplates as well to choose from! This is a must buy for homeowners!

The camera is great for home security purpose. It can accurately capture motion in the detection areas. This is exactly what we need. Two things need to be improved. (1) In the night if light is not sufficient the camera will turn on night vision, which consumes a lot of power, resulting in low power in a short time period and then be offline. (2) The notification of motion detected has a small delay, which does not have huge impact but can be improved.

I had this device (2 of them) for months and i LOVE THEM! Setup: Setup was very easy, Ring Pro uses power from your existing door bell so make sure that you have one - and that it works. First turn ff the breaker, remove old bell switch and install new ring there (do not install the shield yet). Install the "Ring Pro Power Kit" on your existing bell (keep in mind if you are installing two bells for front and rear you will need to install two power kits - one for each bell), and flip the breaker/power back ON. Install the Ring app, create account and connect your ring bell to your network. When done install the shield, it comes with 3 different color shields. Video quality: Ring Pro is 1080p HD video and as long as your network is stable you will have a great video and audio quality. Features: This device will let you customize motion alerts, motion zones, recording times and recording schedules. Very easy to share and download the videos. By the default recordings will be saved for 7 days only unless you pay for the subscription which is also extended warranty as well (you pay for one, getting two). Warranty and plan can be renewed to unlimited number of time, and it will cover replacement if bell goes bad or if it gets stolen. Also it could be canceled at any time. I am not telling you to pay for subscription, just sharing the information. As mentioned this device works over the power from existing door bell so once you loose the power device wont work, which is only downside for me and I must take away one star from my review because of this. If you are considering a Ring or any video doorbell definitely consider the Ring Pro. The camera quality alone is worth the extra cost (in the long run you will save not having to worry about batteries). This doorbell is hardwired so no need to worry about replacing or recharging batteries. Easy to install, easy to set up and like I mentioned before superior video quality.

This is my first experience with a video doorbell and I am pleased with the product. It does what it is supposed to do: someone presses doorbell, chime in house goes off and I get a notification on my phone which I can reply to. I had some concerns about the doorbell transformer since my house was built in the 70s, but everything worked fine and my voltage is in the ideal range so you won't always have issue in older homes. Video quality is great during daytime on playback. It is still really good when I do a live check on my own. The downside for me has been answering motion notices. When I reply to a notification, the live feed usually takes a few seconds to load (as others have said) but even then, the video is sometimes choppy. It seems replying to a notification is best over a wifi signal. Even my mobile signal at 40 mbs can be choppy on live views. If they can get the live feed to run a little quicker and more clearly, I'd bump it up to five stars. One last point, be ready for motion notifications for everything. Mine catches passing garbage trucks, delivery trucks, utility trucks and sometimes even a tree on windy days. You can refine the area of the motion sensor, but I like the sensitivity so I'd always catch if someone came in my driveway. Just have to get used to the notifications. Also, mine randomly goes off when the system switches from night time IR view to daylight view. I've heard some other people have that issue, too. I have just learned to ignore any notifications when the sun is coming up.

The pro is a sleeker version of the Ring doorbell. I'm not the handiest of people but this was easy to install. I unscrewed the existing doorbell and disconnected the wires. Wired up the Ring doorbell, drilled new holes and fastened the doorbell within in a couple minutes. It connected easily with my home wifi network and the Ring app was easy to navigate and use. You can change the sensitivity of the motion detector or turn it to doorbell only for the camera to engage. You can use the app or Ring website to look at the camera at anytime. I purchased the $10 a month service because I knew I was going to purchase the Ring home security system at some point in the future (which would include 24/7 monitoring). The only knock is that if someone does ring the doorbell it takes about 30 seconds to get the app open and for it to connect to the camera. Wish it was faster but still super happy with my purchase. Just wanted to add, you can use this doorbell without purchasing the $10 a month subscription and still get all the functionality. The only thing it adds for the doorbell it it stores historical information longer.

It was recommended product by one friend of mine who working at Security Company for over 15 years in Tulsa area. He installed more RINGS than any other brands . I installed it by myself and That was far easy than I though it would be to install. Also Bundle with Chime Pro just even more awesome. I couldn't find same bundle anywhere else but at the BestBuy. Unexpectedly UPS brought ALEXA DOT 3rd Gen totally free of charge and it was come as gift as well. All hardware included in a kit. 116° view angle is ok for front door - right enough to see. Audio quality depends on your WiFi and cell phone provider. Very nice addition to the security which start outside. People will think twice before they come to your door. Also tomorrow will arrive Ring Floodlight for even better front of the house and driveway coverage. Very good app and settings for everything. Yearly subscription are totally affordable with unlimited devices. I have NEST thermostat . 2 x Canary All-in-One And now RING for outside. 100% satisfied so far and would definitely recommend RING product.

I had an Arlo System prior to purchasing the Ring. I decided I did not want to mess with batteries any longer and went for the hardwired Ring Doorbell Pro. Set up is incredibly easy. Picture quality is great and motion detection and alerts are spot on. Great camera and I be adding the Rkng Floodlight next.

Excellent security: whether at home or away. So easy to install and set up. Works great and can be adjusted for any entrance with the included tools and adapter plates. Highly recommended. The Pro Chime Pro extends the ring to any place in my large home.

Every home needs one of these. You can see who is at your door anytime of the day. The picture is so clear too. You can also talk to whoever is there. It's especially helpful when solicitors are at your door and you can either tell them bye or not bother answering. I think one of the best things about the ring is the app. The Ring community is awesome!! You'll always be well informed of activity in your neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods from other Ring users. I installed the doorbell myself, it was pretty simple. Just be careful not overtighten. Also make sure your WiFi signal reaches the doorbell. The Chime Pro is great as well. Our original doorbell is upstairs and you really can't hear it. The Chime Pro is great because we're able to hear the doorbell all over the house. My wife loves changing the chime tones as well. The Chime Pro was a bit of a pain to connect to the WiFi, but that might be because I have a WiFi extender. Overall, This is a great product and I believe is a must-have for all homes.

Not only has this helped keep track of what's going on at the front door when we are away, it helps when we are home since the house is relatively big a and I did not hear the old doorbell in some corners of the house. Great product, simple install and reasonable annual cost for storing videos.

Picture quality is very good. It starts recording every time someone comes up to the door. You can easily set up your boundaries. Very easy to install. The chime is great when you don't have your phone on you. It alerts you in the house if there is someone is at your door.

I like the ring doorbell. You get alerts if there’s motion or someone is at your front door. It comes with a 30-day trial video storage (you can review previous videos). If you want to store your videos, you’ll need to subscribe to one of ring’s protection plans. If you have just one doorbell, the cost is $3 per month. The service for multiple doorbells & cameras will cost $10/month or $100/year if paid up front. I bought the wired version on sale (don’t want to hassle with replacing rechargeable batteries) and have had this for a couple months. I’ll get the video storage service because I’ve had packages stolen from my porch (or not delivered at all, but delivery company claims to have delivered; that was before this video doorbell). Overall, I’m very satisfied with this doorbell highly recommend it.

I bought this video doorbell pro during thanksgiving. The setup was quick and somewhat easy. It kept loosing wifi initially but then I used the included range extender/chime pro and it worked fine after that. It's great that you can set up the sensing zones for the camera view. The video is saved until you delete it. Chime pro is very loud and clear. The doorbell pro comes with four different color face plates to choose from. Video quality is and angle of view is great too. It also has the two-way audio feature so you can talk to the person standing at your doorstep. The app is very intuitive to use. It does not work integrated with the Ring Alarm security system even though both systems can be accessed using the same app. Overall, great product for a great price.

Great camera for home owners. Easy to install. Works great at capturing movement, once you make adjustments to security zones. Amazing how sensitive the camera is, capturing all different kinds of critters lurking around my home during the night and day.

I chose the Best Buy bundle version as it included the Dot which I probably would not have bought by itself. Install was pretty easy as there are many YouTube videos to watch in prep. Drilling into concrete was the toughest part of the process as the existing holes were too close. With the Pro supporting 2.4 and 5.8, you're also good if you decided to go Google Mesh. I like the optional covers on the Pro edition as you can match your home a bit more. My Ring is very close to the router, so my Signal Strength (RSSI) is strong, which means the performance is good w/ minimal delays. Like many, I considered Nest and Arlo but liked the Ring the best. $30 per year for basic service isn't bad and if we move to 3-4 total, $100 per year is not bad. Our aging original doorbell was very intermittent and it's nice knowing the Ring always works when people come to the door. Would never want to go back to old school doorbell now!

After hearing from family and friends how much they loved the Ring product, we purchased it as well. We've used it for nearly two months. It was easy to install in place of our regular doorbell. We purchased the chime WiFi boost and very rarely have any issue with accessing the app in real time. We've personalized the range which gives us the perfect view and notification of comings and goings, without being disturbed by neighbors' comings and goings. The camera is excellent. The microphone and speaker feature is also very good. You can customize the ring of the bell sound as well as the loudness to your hearing needs. The service to store videos is inexpensive and can be paid monthly or for the year. There is also a neighborhood notification app you can share issues and receive notifications of issues happening in your area. Also customized. We liked this product so much we purchased as a gift for a relative.
