Easy to install. I just had it installed today. The software alerts you of any activities you have set to view etc.

I’m so so glad I finally got the ring! I can safely record and watch out for anything coming up, deliveries and people wondering around I can now see what’s going on when I’m not home. The Notification feature gives you a notice when someone steps in to view! You can even push speaker and Communicate with them outside your door!! It’s 2020 and I think Every home should have one of these!!

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Ring doorbell. It is a great value for the price. Having the ability to watch my home while I’m away is a relief.

Great idea a video doorbell-right?! My house is stucco and I was trying to install this where the old doorbell was located, what a nightmare; the surface was uneven & it caused the doorbell to loose its contact when the button was pushed. Long story short we mounted it on a board. It's the bomb!! Once installed it's the best I would recommend it to everyone!

The camera works great. It is a good feeling knowing the camera is there and working at all times.

Not bad easy hook up had to buy a angle adjuster to get the right view but it's cool

The video is clear and it has an excellent night vision detection plus it alerts the iphones instantly.

I bought this on Black Friday and I’ve wanted it for awhile. It has motion detection and we can speak through it so it gives strangers the idea that we are home even if we are miles away. This can deter anyone trying to burglarize our home if you don’t answer. Also we can keep a close eye on packages as they are delivered and the way the packages are handled by the delivery drivers. Night vision is also great and clear.

I'm very dissapointed with this product. Video quality is terrible and I constantly get a message that the app has problems to connect with Ring when I get a notification and want to see the live video. Sound in videos is really poor. My WiFi isn't the root cause. I checked it directly with the ring app and WiFi is working fine. I tried to contact ring support thru their chat and guess what; is " Currently Offline for Maintenance."!!! Don't loose your money.

I purchased this for replacement of my front door. There’s been some visibility issues, but that’s due to the layout of my porch. Otherwise I’ve been extremely happy and for the yearly fee, the monitoring is great! It’s such a relief to know that I can monitor my front door!

I have it installed correctly. My WiFi signal is on the great scale according to the ring health part of app...yet 30 percent of the time i can’t access it. Many times the doorbell ring is 3 minutes after actual ring is placed. If I have my porch lights on at night anyone on porch looks pure white like a ghost. Support says it the combo of night vision and my lights. Can’t turn off night vision. They suggested I keep my porch dark at night to fix this. So if I make my house dark and inviting to thieves I can see thier faces when they come on the porch. Nice answer.. BUT when it does work it rocks!! Got it with Xmas BB gift cards. Gonna keep it in hopes of a firmware update that helps.

I had some shady stuff going on at my place so decided to get a Ring video camera. I have to say, it was relatively easy to install and it works exactly as it states in the product description. I especially like the "Live View" feature and the notifications. Since I've installed it, nothing weird has happened... Coincidence?

Before I write the review let me just say that iv'e been in IT for more than 15 years and I know a lot about wireless radios as well as computer and networking equipment. Image Quality... It's not what you'd expect out of a 720p camera, the recordings are very pixelated (see pics), some are almost unwatchable. The dynamic range is terrible causing blown out images (again, see pics). Keep in mind that my camera is tucked in about 4 feet into the doorway and is facing north so there should be no need for this to happen. The only time this camera actually does ok is in the dark with the night vision, probably because you can't see any details in low light. SEnsor... It picks up shadows of birds flying by even at the lowest setting you can put it at, which is 5 feet. wich means you get a lot of motion alerts. Connection... In "Live View" mode the video stream tends to cut out or freeze whenever there's movement. One of the things that this can be attributed to is bad wifi signal signal. But in my case, the RSSI singal to my router was at -38, which is very good and would not have the need for the range extender option that they offer since my router, which is no slouch (Nighthawk x8), was only 20 feet away. On my router, I verified that QoS gave the camera the highest possible priority and still, it takes about 15 - 20 seconds to open the Live View, even with the speedy connect option enabled (wich uses more battery). By the time I see the image, the person at the door is gone and you have to resort to video recording. I am now going to return it and most likely get a full blown DVR system with IP cameras to get true 720p quality. Which sucks because I was really excited about the camera/doorbell combo that that Ring offered. The only thing I would recommend this for is if you're looking the combo features this has to offer and if you really don't care for image quality.

This unit is fairly easy to install, however it does not connect well to the plastic panel that attaches to the wall. The newer units have removable rechargeable batteries and better connections when hardwired. During the day, the unit frequently loses connection from the hardwire. If you use a regular door bell analog or digital you will need to upgrade the transformer to at least 30v. Preferably 40v!! Buy the upgraded model Ring Doorbell!!!

The camera good for a beginner, and we can upgrade for better, problem is nobody mentioned the service payments. We have to pay 30$ a year to keep the service.

Works perfect. The cloud storage is a must after free 30 day trial and only $30 for a whole year, great price. I hard wired mine and the push button for the doorbell is constantly lit for easy to see at night.
