I’m also enjoying the notifications on my iPhone in New York each time there’s activity at the front door.

Regarding the Ring Video Doorbell Wired, the Jumper Cable bypasses and disables your existing doorbell chime and must be installed before you install your Ring Doorbell. This is done by design. If you would like to have a chime inside your home that provides sounds when your Ring Video Doorbell Wired is triggered, you will need a Ring Chime: https://ring.com/products/chime-gen2/ or an Alexa-enabled device: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003247146-How-to-Connect-Amazon-Alexa-Enabled-Devices-with-Ring-Devices.

I will have an electrician install all 3 ring products on Monday. The 2 ring doorbell boxes have been opened and were secured with clear circle tape. Crossing my fingers and hope it all works out good on Monday.
