Customers are delighted by the picture quality and the long cable length of the 100' 4K UltraHD/HDR In-Wall Rated Active Fiber Optical HDMI Cable, finding it provides the length needed for their setups. However, some customers experienced issues with the HDMI connection, reporting that it did not always deliver a consistent 4K experience or function as expected. The cable's durability was also questioned by some users.

My tech guy told me that any HDMI Cable over 50 ft would be too far to transmit in high quality. It will work but don’t expect 4K high quality for long.

Works great 4k HDR @ 60hz

I just upgraded to an Optoma UHD 50 projector and I knew I was going to need to upgrade my HDMI cable. I needed something in the 30 to 35ft range that would play UHD movies and games at 4k HDR @ 60hz. I purchased a cable from an online mega retailer that didn't work and I also purchased the Insignia 50ft cable that did not work. I called a local AV shop and they recommended a $400 active AudioQuest cable. I didn't want to spend that much, so I decided to try this optical HDMI cable for just under half the price. I plugged it in, enabled 4k on my Xbox One X and eureka! It worked! So far, things are working great and I just have the excess cable rolled up in case I ever move my theater to a larger room. I highly recommend this cable if you have a long HDMI run for and you are having trouble with less expensive cables.

$300 for this useless cable! What a rip off!

Just ran this cable through a crawl space under a church. Can't say that me or anyone else is impressed with this skinny, flimsy cable! Plugged it in and tv won't detect any source that is plugged into this cable! Oh wow! No wonder it doesn't work! This useless cable has to be powered by 2 micro USBs or it won't work! What!? For 300 bucks you would think they'd include a stupid micro usb cable and/or a charger, and it requires 2 of them! Rocketfish tells you in the manual: "required microUSB (not included)". Why not?! I guess $300 wasn't enough money to include a couple of cheap microUSBs, or to package this flimsy cable wound on a spool, so it doesn't get all tangled when unrolling/pulling it! Best Buy wouldn't include or advise you to buy a couple of microUSBs, but they upsold my customer on some $900 worth of cables and other junk for this particular installation, with some items that were not even needed! Geek Squad installation was another $250! After they delivered and hung 2 tv's on a wall, I asked one of them about the hdmi cable installation under the floor. The guy told me that they won't step foot under the floor, don't go down in the basement, and will not pull any cable through the crawl space! For $250 all they do is plug in the power cord, and if your source is long distance away, and you gotta pull a cable through a space under the floor - you're on your own! It took 4 of them to hang 2 tv's and plug em to the wall outlet! Ooh! Wow! What a joke! They could've hooked up all the cables that came from Best Buy, temporarily above the floor, to make sure it all works, or at least checked that we have everything required to successfully hook up the tvs with a source pc, which is on the other side of the room. After they came to the location almost a week ago, to evaluate what my customer needed for this particular setup, Best Buy sold him $900 worth of jnuk! For $700 in just the hdmi cables, this 100foot cable cost $300, and it's only a standard 18mbps 4k, active hdmi 2.0 without integrated power, and this useless piece of ca*p comes without any USB power supply or any micro USB cable to make it work! I tried, but because of this cable, I still could not get the system hooked up on time! Best Buy? My aR$! This $300 thing was the Worst Buy ever!!! What a rip off! I can find all kinds of way better hdmi cables online, and for way less than the price of this tupid cable! After costing you an arm and a leg, you still can't use it, until you go buy more cГ@p just to make it work! And this is the only 100 foot active hdmi cable they had in stock at Worst Buy! I wish I knew this a week ago, I would've got one for way less, delivered right to my door within a few days, and could've had this setup working right now! Useless!

It is causing my projector to go black for 30 seconds or so at a time randomly after 3 years. The warranty is 5 we will see how this goes. I have tested it running a different HDMI and have no problem with that one.
