I have to say theses work well for the price I payed for then

I am not impressed. I noticed no difference from my 15year old cables to these. The problem I was having (no color or clear picture on a new TV combined w/ existing DVD player) was ultimately cleared up by using my old cables for sound and the new cables for picture. Not sure if it was just bad advice at the beginning, or a lack of knowledge on the sales floor when I happened to be there. They were cables, they did work. However,no warm fuzzy happy camper here. $30. I did not need to spend

I bought it for convertable box that has a recorder. I have to get a remote first.

Was not a good product... Overheated and melted HDMI cables.

I just got a used VCR to record my old home movies from tape to DVD. It had a composite outputs and I wanted to get the best quality I could. I have worked in the manufacturing of wire and cable for over thirty years and I know you get what you pay for. This product had the appearance and feel of quality so I decided this was the product for me.

When we purchased our TV, the connections were different from the one it replaced, so the sales agent indicated that we needed a composite AV cable. He showed us how to connect the cable, which we did, but the DVD player did not work. I called the sales agent to verify that I had connected it correctly, but it still did not work. We finally called Geek Squad to have them program our universal remote, and one of those agents informed us that the cable was defective. Since we are not tech people, we thought we had done something wrong. We had to return the cable to Best Buy and get another. Since the store is about 12 miles from our home, it was an inconvenience. The replacement cable works fine, but we would have been more satisfied if the initial purchase had worked, which is why the rating is lower for quality and performance.

Does exactly what I bought it for. Makes the quality of sound very good.

I lost our original cord, so I drove to my nearest best buy and picked up one of these cords. It was super affordable and easy to use! I'm glad I came to best buy!

Recommended by the BestBuy technician and works great for connecting my receiver to my TV.
