I thought I needed a new television because of poor picture quality. The Best Buy technician told me before I do that I should try replacing the HDMI cable and/or HDMI port. I did both and it seems I don't need a new TV after-all.

I've had widescreen, (3 picture tube), TV's before most people knew they were made and have been an early adopter of everything. I've got one of the first Samsung 3D TV's shipped to consumers and it has 4 HDMI inputs. I just bought a new 4K HDMI Samsung that had only 3 4K HDMI connectors. I bought this and minutes later I had 6 4K HDMI inputs. What else can I say, these worked perfectly for me!

This is a great product. You might ask "if it is great why 3 stars? There are 2 things that don't make this a 5 start product. 1) The HDMI1 input is in front of the box. There is no way to organize your cables (cable Management when 3 inputs are in the back and one is on the front of the box. Looks really ugly. 2) The remote is not reliable (some time it work, some time does not). To fix this I had to transfer the functions to my universal remote and forget about the one that comes with the switch. Other than that the switch works great and have not had any issues.

Great HDMI switch. The positioning of the port on the front seems a little strange but is great for if you need to wire in a device you don't normally have hooked up

This little box is the best thing around for those of us with TVs, DVD players, computers, gaming rigs, and more but with no "hub" to plug them all into. This gadget allows you to switch remotely between the above mentioned! It is a must have. After mine was struck by lightning, I flew to BBuy to get a replacement. Love this item!

I use this switch to go from my cable box to Blu ray player. It works great with my harmony remote also. Handy device.

I only had two HDMI ports in my tv but needed three. This solved that problem. More expensive than I would like and one of the ports on the unit is in the front, which doesn’t work well for me. Does add another remote to the mix. Otherwise, it served my problem and works well.

What’s the money? I have some 7000 series only has two HDMI ports I got this product works very well.

Great product. Seamlessly changes my HDMI ports with ease. I have a 82in wall mounted tv that due to how it is mounted only allows 2 HDMI cables to be plugged in. This was by far the best 4-1 HDMI hub. I tried a few others off Amazon and either they didnt work or there were issues with 4k quality.

The front panel is touch sensitive, sometimes too sensitive. Just skimming your fingers over the inputs will cause them to change. I also find that the unit does not respond consistently to the remote.

I needed a 4K HDMI switch and this guy does the trick. Unfortunately, it has issues when devices disconnected and I have to manually switch sources back and forth. The high cost isn't worth it, so get it when it's on sale.

Easiest to use HDMI switchable outlets I’ve ever used. You get what you pay for. I tired of trying less expensive models offered at other online stores as they were far substandard.

Bought this in order to accommodate additional devices as today’s tv’s have limited number of inputs. Typically you’ll have more devices than inputs so this solves that problem. Not sure why they have one of the inputs on the front of unit however?

I bought it to have a nice switch between my Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and my Raspberry Pi. Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is due to the fact that there is an output at the front of the switch, a big eye sore IMO. Other than that, it is a wonderful device. Would recommend!

This item is compact and a space saver. I have not had any problem using this item. The installation was quick and easy to set up. When I use multiple outlets, it does not run slow or have those glitches or constant buffering problems that I see when using other similar devices.

The Rocketfish 4 port switch box was very easy to install. It allowed me to use multi HDMI items to just one line. It came with battery & remote. Definitely worth the money.

Saw this unit and decided to try a cheaper version of this. Well I returned the cheaper version and went with the Rocketfish unit. Hooked it up and had no problems compared to the cheaper model. In addition Best Buy was kind enough to discount the unit.

First off, BB description of this really cool tool is lacking. You can use the remote to change input sources or you can press the number on the front and that will work also. I use this on my Win7 PC and Raspberry Pi 3 (R-Pi) with no issues except for one. When I am using my ROBO 3D printer, also purchased from BB, and switch to the R-Pi during a print job. The USB looses connection and the print stops with no way to restart the print job. The monitor video cables on both the R-Pi and the Windows machine are used only to carry a video signal and not audio or USB on my system. When I switch back to the PC the USB reconnects but it's too late by that point for the print job. Kind of an odd issue that might not be encountered by most people, but something to keep in mind if using on computers with USB devices. Over all, I really like this switch box and will probably just remote into the R-PI from Windows during print jobs.
