Needed this for our game room to connect multiple consoles to the tv. Glad to get this product it was easy to use and seems to hold up well.

Its a good basic switch for channeling multiple inputs into a single HDMI output. It does not automatically switch to a new input channel when you plug in a new device.

We have a few of these sprinkled throughout our home and they are very easy to use.

This is a cool device that comes with a remote but also allows you to switch your HDMI input by simply touching the number on the front display. I use it to switch one of my monitors to another computers so that I can either have dual monitors on one or one on each one. Whatever works right :)

Worked for what I needed it for. Convenient front input connection. Slight delay when changing with the remote but can easily change with push button.

It makes it easier to change from cable to Google TV with the remote. I can put more stuff on my TV too

Needed additional HDMI inputs due to older tv and inability to fish another cable through the wall. I called techs at an AV store and they were pricey for estimate on getting an HDMI cable through the wall. For less than half the price of just the labor, I got this switch and it has worked well.

It is excellent for my gaming is fast and also for my laptop. It is an excellent excellent product. I also connected it to my TV and it has work well.

I’ve owned a few of these in the past this one was about 40 bucks more than the last but the functionality of it with not having to use the remote is nice. The remotes are typically small with these units and get lost in the couch.

The switcher plugged in without trouble and it's behaved well. It responds quickly when a new signal source turns on, and it's easy to switch back to another mode.

Makes changing from the cable, Xbox, and Apple TV super simple.

Easy to hook up and keeps clutter to a minimum. This unit will automatically switch between devices, or you can choose with the remote. Very good quality.

If you're looking for an expansion option or, like me, you're looking to replace an older Rocketfish 4-port HDMI switch, this is the one to get. Installation was a piece of cake and if you're not famliar with how these work, you basically use one of the HDMI inputs on your TV with this to add on an additional four HDMI sources. In my case, I still have an XBox 360 and a PS3 hooked up in one of my rooms and I use this switch to share HDMIs with a PS4 and a multi region BD player. I probably won't get much use out of these older consoles but if I want to play something that hasn't been ported yet, I can.

I was recommended this item. I had no experience how to use this. Once I purchase this and took it home I had no idea what to do. My wife figure it out and show me how to install it. It's easy to use once I learn by experimenting with it.

This does everything i wanted it to and it even came with a remote. The lights on the front make it super easy to use

Tried a cheaper HDMI switch I found on Amazon. It would not recognize my Samsung tv. Purchased this Rocketfish switch, and though it was quite a bit more costly it had no problem connecting. Very satisfied with this product.

This item was a Godsend as I have been looking for months for this very item and finally found it at Best Buy. I found several switch boxes, but nothing 4K compatible. Ordered it immediately and set it up. I am hooking a PS4, XBox 1, 4K 3D Blu Ray player and Comcast box through the unit, so all 4 inputs are utilized. Initially, my only complaint was and still is the remote control. I don't know which it is, but either the RF signal from the remote is weak or the receiver on the unit is not strong enough, or it's a combination of both. As I have had three of these and they all have this issue (one has to press the input 5+ times before it will switch; its easier just to get up and change it at the touch interface, which works well by the way). The first unit I purchased in 4 February 2019 and lasted roughly 2 months before it started having issues. As this was a while ago, I don't remember the exact issue; it was something to do with a couple of the inputs not working properly, but it was still usable as I finally got tired of the issue in May 2019 and returned it 8 May 2019. Best Buy exchanged it. OK. Second unit. Again the remote control was not that reliable. Spotty response at best, but dealt with it; not a deal breaker for me. However, this unit did not last 30 days. It was returned on 31 May 2019. The issue there, input 1 completely failed; it's the input on the front of the unit. Best Buy exchanged it again. Now I am on the third unit. As has been a consistent feature of the unit, the remote has spotty use. Again, not a deal breaker. I don't mind changing it at the touch interface; the remote also usually works after about 3 or 4 presses, which is actually a slight improvement over the others. Today is 22 October 2019. This unit has been in operation for 144 days. Roughly 4 weeks prior, on 22 September or so, I came home to find my brother had disconnected the front input of the unit. When asked why, he told me that port 1, the front port, was not working. In fact, if anything was plugged into the front port, the whole unit acted up. I am currently seeing the following symptoms and this is with port 1 not being used: port 3 cuts out constantly when you're watching cable; the screen will go black with no signal then pop back on 2 or 3 times a minute, hugely annoying; port 4 (PS4) the signal cuts out, but it's infrequent and sporadic. I usually get a pop out with a multi-colored pixelated screen, then it comes back in shortly after. I called Best Buy tonight and told them what was going on with the unit. I was told to bring it in and speak to a manager. I am not hopeful that they will exchange it this time. We will see. I may be forced to purchase another unit at my own expense as I need this device. This is an $80 item. It's not horribly expensive, but not a drop in the bucket for an HDMI switch. Rocketfish, if you see this, I "will" be corresponding with you after I go to Best Buy regardless if they exchange it or not. I need this to work and you need to improve the quality of your product; from the remote control to the components' longevity. I would be very interested to see how you respond to this review and my situation. This is my first review for a Best Buy product, so I don't know if it will allow an update. If so, I will update this review tomorrow.
