pretty expensive unit, but well worth the cost. the side profile is great for behind furniture.

This product had more protection than most surge protectors. and I like the size and ease.

It's small and portable. I like the design of it. It's just what I needed for my dj lights.

This unit is nice to include two USB ports which are well located on the top of the unit, but the regular electrical outputs are kind of inconvenience because these are on the side of the unit creating and issue with the bulky or funny shape AC adapters of so many different devices these days. I will recommend to get the one from insignia, same Best Buy brand but better location of ports, ALL facing to the front. Just my point of view.

Very Good - helps to increase outlets and USBs. It is low profle for behind flat panel TVs.

This works OK except that it doesn't always fit plugs that are at all larger than normal. Didn't think it would be a big deal, but if I buy this type of product again I will DEFINITELY get ones that can rotate toward the front rather than being stuck in the side position. The USB slots in the top are nice to have though.

I've never had an issue with Rocketfish-branded merchandise and this surge protector continues that trend. It is a great device with a smart form factor. While yes, you give up both plugs in an outlet, you gain 4 additional connections (over the original 2) and 2 USB ports for charging Android phones and/or other devices. You also can't beat the value.. 2100 J protection at 2/3 of the price of the major brands! I don't find the unit heavy, but our outlets at the office are fairly loose, so every so often you may want to check on it and make sure it's fully pressed in against the wall… the weight of the unit can move it out slowly. I wouldn't recommend it, therefore, for set and forget usage behind a desk or in a tight corner (even though it's a great form factor to fit in these places!).

The side of my couch sits agajnst an outlet. A typical surge protector doesnt work because the plug sticks out too much and I cant push the couch up against the wall. One with a flat plug doesn't help because I have little boys thag will plag with it. This works great because the receptors are to the side, enabling me to push the couch completely against a wall. While it is thin, it is long and wide, meaning that a tug or two from a wire hooked up will loosen the connectio. To the outlet. A very minor concern. There are 2 usb receptors on top of the unit, which I use for pho es amd tablets. I don't notice any difference in the time it takes to charge, which is a good thing.

This turned out to be a perfect and cost effective solution for fitting additional outlets and USB charging support for mobile devices with surge protection behind a student desk that needed to be up as close as possible to the wall. Great design!

My son's room and my daughter's room both have outlets that were partially blocked by a bed or dresser. This surge protector allowed me to utilize what little space there was between the outlet and furniture quite nicely. Since the six outlets are on the sides of the surge protector, electronics that plug into the surge protector can run parallel to the wall without crimping any cords in the tight space like with traditional power strip surge protectors. The 2 USB charging ports are quite handy, too. Haven't experienced any power surges since purchasing, so can't comment on how effective they are in protecting your electronics.

I like the extra usb ports for this charger but it is top heavy and if u bump it, it comes out off the wall. Better design needed also to pull a plug out with out falling off wall and unplugging everything else.

This was best choice for me to put in the outlet behind my nightstand. I can plug in the alarm clock and device charging cables (iPhone and FitBit) in a tight space without severely crimping the cables. It is awesome!

I have really enjoyed this outlet/surge protector as it has expanded my ability to charge all my devices in one convenient location. Nice to have the surge protection benefit as well. Recommend fully.

I have put this in my son's room. We have his sound machine, TV, dvd player, and tablet plugged into this surge protector. The only negative mark is that the plug ins are close together and do not support two large plugs on the same side.

Love that the surge protector is right on the wall..so no cables all over the place and the two usb outlets are additional bonus that allows me to charge my iPad and IPhone at the same time.

I bought this to use behind a bed where I needed the side plugins to keep the plugs away from the bed frame. I plan to buy several more for places like the kitchen counter for the landline telephone and mobile phone chargers. This plug is much heavier than a lot of the less expensive plastic side plugs you see advertised. It fits tightly in the dual outlet ( no wiggling around) and provides good surge protection for devices without taking up a lot of space.
