    This was purchased to provide surge protection as well as being small and out of the way. I liked the side plug bars which allowed it to go well behind the dresser upon which the TV that is plugged into it sits. The top USB ports also work well for recharging my phone as well which also sits on top of the dresser.

    bought this item on the clearance open box site. it is more compact and neater looking than a surge protection strip. it gets it off the floor .

    This is a nice economical surge protector that offers a slim design and has 6 outlets. It will hold six regular sized plugs. If you have high end electronics without a warranty, go with a more expensive surge protector that carries a product warranty/insurance.
