Let me preface by saying I got this speaker for 60$ on special, and it is BEYOND worth what I paid for it, however I do not think it is worth $150 either and here is why: Although the bass is excellent and it is perfect for outdoors because it is so loud, the treble is almost nonexistent. It's a shame because the design is so well manufactured, all they had to do was add a tweeter and it would have been perfect, but either way it handles dialogue and bass excellently, and it adds a nice tonal quality to the music you listen to, but overall it is not a Hi-Fi solution if you are looking for something that has an accurate response, this is not the speaker for you. But it IS portable (although it is heavy, it is sturdy and feels like it can withstand some beatings). It has a really long battery life and it is THE LARGEST RECHARGEABLE BATTERY POWERED SPEAKER IN THE MARKET.

I purchased this speaker to use out by the pool. I was really surprised with the quality of sound. It has decent bass so you don't feel like your listening to a tin can. It also has pretty good volume although with some music I feel like you might blow the speaker if your playing it at max volume. My wife and daughters use it everyday for hours and it holds a charge for weeks. We are very happy with its performance. If you are looking for a wireless speaker that will not break the bank this might be for you.

Great sound. Easy to use. I tried the Bose sound dock and prefer this model over it. It's heavier than the Bose but it's louder and it's water resistant.

Got this for my wife. She uses it for cheerleading. We found the blue tooth easy and fast. Sound is good but could be a little louder. Charges fast and seems to hold for a while.

Bought this speaker to use on our dock at our lake house and it does the job. Nice sound, plenty loud, and easy to control. It is a bit large and bulky, but thT is okay for our situation.

I had been wanting to purchase this speaker for some time but I did not want to pay the $150.00 price tag. When I found out that Best Buy had this as an open item for 79.99 I had to buy it! I used this in my medium sized yard and the sound fills the space very well. The bluetooth feature is easy and does not lose signal when paired with my phone. This isn't meant to be a huge sound with a heavy base but for get togethers and outdoor entertainment it is more than efficient. I still wouldn't pay $150 for it though.

For a low to mid-range bluetooth speaker this is a good deal. Sounds great, bass boost is a plus, and the battery life is very good.

Perfect for my needs, good sound, battery lasted way longer then I expected. Super easy to use, was jamming out in 5 mins.

Amazing battery life, tremendous sound and weather-tough. I love this thing. I wish Bluetooth signal didn't have issues when device is inside (phones are not as weather resistant) but otherwise, a great a experience.

This speaker is easily portable and the battery has a long life. Sound quality is excellent and volume is great compared to other portable speakers at this price point. For the money, this is a terrific product.

Fantastic sound. Beautiful deep base. Good range on a patio or back deck. And definitely waterproof. Left it out by accident in a torrential thunderstorm. Works just as normal as when I took it out of the box.

Returned the Bose mini, which cost about 200 clams. Not what I expected from this speaker. (sounded great in the store.) Looked at the reviews of the Rocketfish and decided to give it a try. You can only find it in the home stereo section. Being weather proof, I knew it would be great for backyard bbq's. I was not disappointed as the sound was just so good! The Bass Booster was also a added bonus! Simple to pair and I was listening to music even as I was charging the speaker. Would definitely recommend. Just remember to go to the home stereo section, and I had to show the salesperson the speaker on the web because he didn't think it was in this department. For 180 w/ warranty, can't beat this deal!

Great sound, waterproof and portable made this a great choice for our pool area.

Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because nothing's perfect, but this is close! I love it! I use it mainly outside and it's very loud and the bass sounds very nice.

This is a great sounding bluetooth speaker for a decent price; the set up is a breeze, the bass boost is a plus, the sound volume could deserve to be turned up a little louder, but still is decent. Would desire to be able to link these up to several speakers and a single device at one time, but none-the-less....a great buy for a single speaker to have in a single room, garage or a deck with not a lot of noise going on that could drowned it out in a crowd.

purchased speaker to replace wireless outdoor speakers. bluetooth feature is fantastic. works on all our devices and sounds great. easy to move around and is very sturdy , looks cool too.

Excellent value. Used the speaker while I was entertaining. More than loud enough to annoy my neighbors (if I wanted to). Battery lasted longer than I expected and needed. Bass was surprising for me and my guests. Bluetooth range was about 35 feet in my backyard. Fairly large, so it's not something to throw in a backpack, but light and portable enough to carry from room to room or from indoor to outdoor. No regrets.

I want to start by saying the sound is great with this speaker. I have absolutely no complaints in this department as the overall sound is nice with really good bass. The only issue I have with this and why it didn't get a better rating is the bluetooth range is not very good and seems to be spotty at best. One time it will work through 2 walls at the max range (~30ft) and the next the sound will cut out for brief moments standing 10ft away with my phone in my pocket and nothing interfering with line of sight. I would buy this again hoping the bluetooth worked better.

Sounds really good. This is my first bluetooth speaker. I'm not sure what kid of range other speakers have but I'm getting fluctuating results, some time when I'm 30' away it still picks up and sometime when I'm15' away i start to lose connection.not sure if its my phone or the speaker. has an aux input and good volume too when compared to other speakers in a higher price range. If sound is important it's distortion free at full volume which was an important factor for me.
