Love this little Roku speaker. The sound is really good for something it’s size. The built in Roku interface works as you would expect. The only thing I don’t like and why I took off a star is the lack of a sleep timer. When first purchased we set our TV sleep timer but the channel we were streaming automatically plays the next episode and this feature can’t be disabled so we woke to a dark room with voices coming from the speaker. We soon realized that we would have to fall asleep streaming a channel that will allow you to disable automatically playing the next episode in order to stop any sound from coming out of the speaker. If Roku would add a sleep timer I would definitely give five stars.

Great sound quality, and range of volume is excellent. I like the small size for our bedroom, and the ability to add extra surround sound speakers and subwoofer is nice. And I really like that we only need one remote to use the TV, soundbar, and apps. I only wish the product included wall mounting hardware and bracket. I had to search and order a 3rd party solution for this.

The Roku streambar is not my first venture into the streaming world of Roku. I have enjoyed the ease of use and the bounty of diverse streaming opportunities that Roku offered and after observing that the Roku Streambar was to be introduced, I eagerly awaited its arrival in stores as it was entirely suitable enhancing the sound of the television by the kitchen table. The space for both television and a sound bar is such that a small device that for a modest price provides easy streaming and enhanced sound was just the ticket.

Love the sound on this streambar! We purchased a couple of new televisions but the sound was terrible and pretty distracting. Since we really liked the TVs and already had them set up, we decided to try a streambar. It was like night and day! There are different settings based on what you’re watching or listening to and there’s even a night setting. Set up was pretty easy, too.

The sound from this small machine is amazing. I did not expect the vibrancy and depth of sound. And my Roku streaming is top notch as well. Having one machine that can do both functions is a real plus for me because this freed up an HMI port for my DVD instead of needing to use a switching system. I am thrilled !!

I bought this because I wanted to take advantage of a free subscription to Apple TV. This has been a super pleasant surprise! The sound is very good and there are some amazing features like being able to push vocals forward to make it easier to hear, customizing sound generally, the ability to mirror cast from a Mac or Android device, 4k processing and being able to handle sound from devices like dvd players. It was easy to set up and use. The unfortunate thing is that it does not have the plug on the remote for using headphones. Other than that I love this. It is better than I thought it would be.

We've had several Roku products, including the Sticks, 4K Stick, and Roku Ultra. This is a good solution for a smaller TV where you want the Roku experience and a sound upgrade too. It is much richer and deeper than typical TV speakers, takes up practically no space, and is super easy to set up, especially if you have an available HDMI-ARC port. At the $100 price we paid, definitely worth it!

Very easy hook up, WiFi speed is lightning fast and the sound is excellent even without a subwoofer…compact sized and exactly what I needed!

Great streaming source, compact and powerful. The sound is good, it could be better. Price is perfect and very affordable. Great for bedrooms and kitchen.

This soundbar is perfect! Streaming and great sound all in one! Most of all easy to set up, easy to use, and it's compact.

Wonderful interface, works with Alexa, sounds great for its size and eliminated a ton of other hardware and wires. One thing could be better: It should have inputs for other devices so I could choose my cable box, etc within the Roku interface... like with our Roku tvs(which are also awesome). Instead I have too use the TV remote to change the input to any other devices. Other than that, I might swap it out for the larger Roku smart sound bar, but this sounds pretty good so we'll see.

This speaker and streaming are the best combo. I couldn’t hear tv very well with the internaltv speaker but this item solved all my problems. Good quality It’s soung; evermore bass is good. Seems that the streaming devise is a bit stringer too. I was so impressed that I bought two

I love the compact size and it was so easy to set up. Sounds great for it's size and plan on adding the sub later on.

Quick review based on initial impressions, this is a pretty cool product. I got it for my elderly father who is in a full-care part of a retirement home. His room is about the size of a dorm room, so I didn't want something that would be too loud. The Streambar is quite small, so there are definitely limitations to the overall sonic output, but I was surprised by the fullness of the sound when I started Last of the Mohicans, one of his favorite movies. As with many movies, the sound effects of the action scenes were really loud when the volume was set to make normal dialog easy to hear. We were frequently adjusting the volume up and down just to err on the side of caution and not bother other residents. I did a quick search for how to turn on the volume leveling feature, and that worked *really* well. You could clearly hear dialog without getting blown out by the cannon fire. Based on my limited experience with one movie, it's probably the best implementation of that particular audio feature that I've heard. I'm guessing it would not be the best choice for a large room without the volume leveling simply because the loud scenes would really strain the small speakers, but it seems ideal for a bedroom. Plus, you can still get very inexpensive 32" TVs without streaming built in. I think this is good since entry level smart TVs are sometimes not very impressive.

Really didn't know what to expect with this but it beyond met my exceptions. The sound is awesome and you can very easily adjust it to your liking. I have an "older" plasma TV (that still in my opinion gives the best picture) and the images are beautiful! Nice to be able to turn off the TV with the Roku remote and adjust the volume. Only quibble? The volume and the mute button are on the right side of the remote, so it's easy to constantly hit mute as you are holding it. Other than that, it's a great price for a great item!

The sound is excellent, plus it was easy to install. The ROKU sound bar is much more compact then my old sound bar and uses less space.

This is an excellent all in one sound bar and Roku player. I have several standalone Roku players and several sound bars. This item combines the two in a great package that is easy to set up and takes up a lot less space. Set up is easy and if you have a Roku account you just log in and you are up and running in a few minutes. I always use the Optic Cable connection and have had no issues with this device. This is my second one and I highly recommend it for function and ease of use.

I bought this Streambar for my Samsung 40" that requires a ROKU type device to access HULU live streaming. The added benefit is the Streambar has ROKU integrated within the unit so set up is really a snap. The sound quality is very good, a magnitude better than the native sound out of the TV, but probably not "movie sound" quality. However it certainly meets my needs for general TV & movie watching with the family in our family room.
