In our house hold we have really old tvs from 2010 and Roku makes them brand new! We can finally watch YouTube, Netflix, and even Disney for my nephew.

This is my third Roku Stick, and I continue to be impressed. Setup was quick and easy, and the streaming quality is excellent as always. The interface is simple and user-friendly, which makes finding my favorite apps fast and hassle-free. I purchased the Roku Streaming Stick after cancelling my cable TV subscription to provide "smartness" to my older Insignia "dumb" TV. The stick is very easy to install; it has HDMI and USB connectors. The USB connector supplies power to the stick so it needs to be plugged into a powered USB port. If your USB port isn't powered or doesn't supply enough power you will have problems with updating the stick's software and you'll need to plug your USB connector into a wall outlet connector (as I had to do). During setup you'll create an account with Roku. Unless you purchase subscriptions to streaming services thru Roku, there is no charge from Roku to use the stick. I was able to add apps to the streaming services I was formerly watching via cable TV; no issues. Picture quality is fine; navigating using the remote control is easy and intuitive. This is one of the most inexpensive investments you can make to make your TV smarter!

Super easy to hook up and set up. Roku stick is out of the way and much slimmer than little Roku boxes. Stick is much preferred and work with any TV that has a USB or HDMI port. We’ll be buying more.

Super easy to set up, even pairing the remote only took a minute, works like a charm

I don’t really watch TV much since I have an older one and haven’t invested in a newer setup, but this Roku Streaming Stick was super easy to set up. Connecting it to the TV and Wi-Fi was quick, and signing into all my streaming services took me no time. I’ve owned the Amazon Fire TV Stick before, and while this isn’t a huge upgrade, it does offer better more (small details). Being able to watch TV with my AirPods connected is honestly a game changer. The Roku app also makes things way easier, the remote is fine, but when I lose it (which happens a lot), the app saves me every time.

I expected it to be more complicated than it was. I got all 3 tvs hooked up to roku in no time. The platform is really easy to use. I'm glad I made this choice. Only flaw is, I wish the remote was backlit.
