This little mic is a powerhouse. Connected directly to my computer as the only mic it catches my voice without any background noise. Very small footprint.

I bought this to use when I Skype. Everyone on the other end says the sound quality is so much better than just using the computer mic.

Useful on Skype conference calls, especially with large groups.

(I thought I'd reviewed this previously?) At any rate, it's easy as pie -- just plug into your USB port and start your audio recording program. The quality is amazingly good for something so small and inexpensive -- even compared to a broadcast-quality microphone.Remember the acoustics of your environment will affect the final sound.

My 12 year old son uses this for youtube videos and skype. He loves it and uses it on the desktop computer. It picks up noise in the background like a tv so it's best to use in a quiet area. My son loves it and likes that he can easily take it to his grandparents house to use on their computer also.

I purchased this mic thinking I would use it for recording a quick voice over demo or music melody idea. I thought it came with a built in headphone jack to monitor the voice/music mix. Unfortunately it did not. To be fair, I never even tried it, as it didn't have this feature when I unboxed it, so I was disappointed. That was one of the reasons for purchasing this.

it's cheap and works ok. Nothing great but good for basic voice applications.

Wanted an affordable mic to do quick voice-overs. Looking to improve on my Surface built in mic. This Samson mic records in stereo, but overall sound quality was not as good as my buil-in mic. Disappointed, and returning the Samson.
