Typically, I read reviews before I buy anything, but when the handle of our old Samsung microwave fell off, I just wanted something to match the appliance suite we had (a set that came with the house we bought a year ago). This was a MISTAKE! The old microwave wasn't great, but it was better than its replacement. The new one doesn't seem as powerful in terms of cooking, the reheat "sensors" don't work AT ALL and completely overheat food if you aren't paying attention, the fan that acts as a "vent hood" doesn't pull up anything AND, once it was up and installed, it was clear that the door was ever-so-slightly askew out of the box. It's not worth the time, effort, energy, money to uninstall and return this microwave, which must be what the manufacturer is counting on. PLEASE do an internet search of this product before buying this model. Matching a stainless steel finish is absolutely pointless when the replacement is so utterly deficient. PS- My first instinct was to repair/replace the door handle on the old one. Super easy fix, not worth almost $100 for just the handle. Irksome!

You should know that when the microwave is operating, it is normal for it to make a low humming or buzzing white sound, and this happens for several reasons but is most commonly due to magnetron oscillation (when the microwave is heating) and/or the vent fan running. ^Gaby
