If you need an over the stove microwave, this one is it. Sleek look, quiet, lots of options.

We are switching our appliances to the black stainless and we purchased a Samsung fridge, so we wanted everything to match. Without the handle on the front, this microwave looks much more modern inside our kitchen. The door opens and closes much easier than our previous, and the unit is much quieter when heating food. Does the job quicker also. It doesn't leave prints on it while using either. We are very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

Great microwave.. I was worried about it fitting since I have a tile backsplash partway up the wall, but installers did a great job. Microwave does great with everything so far. I had to go back to book to figure out how to do individual power settings, but it was very simple, just hit OK after putting in minutes to cook and it asked for power setting then hit start.

My new Samsung 2.1 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave with Sensor Cook replaced a seven year old Samsung. Whereas the control panel previously listed Power, the new control panel shows OK for the same function. I had to go online to read instructions to find out how to adjust the power. Other than that, I'm pleased with my purchase. It's fairly basic, but large, with a rack to enable me to heat two items at the same time. In both the old and new Samsung units, the sensor for reheating a meal on a dinner plate is set way too long, but I've learned to use my own judgment for reheating and cooking. I would recommend the product to anyone who wants to program their microwave by time and power.

We have renovated our kitchen from top to bottom. When it came to deciding on appliances and reviewing a few brands, we decided to go with Samsung. Samsung appliances are beautiful, well thought out and very functional. I don't understand why companies ask consumers to write a review on new products/appliances...MY LORD...The appliance/product is new. In most cases consumers do not have difficulties with new products. Consumers can only...(in my opinion,) speak on the astatic of the product/appliance. So far, I am really enjoying my "Samsung Kitchen". The appliances are beautiful. I love following recipes and listening to music from the door of my refrigerator. Did I mention that I can see inside of my refrigerator and send grocery list to my Samsung phone. Well...I can. If I am baking a small pie, I don't have to use the full oven. The vent is visually beautiful, the microwave is so slick and clean. Let's not talk about the Samsung dishwasher...OH MY WORD...speaking of quiet. The Samsung Powerbot R7040, AMAZING. This little sucker cleans better than any maid. All under the chairs the beds, couches. Places where most maids don't go. I would suggest that you vacuum properly first because when the dust catcher gets full you would have to empty constantly, then let the POWERbot maintain the floors. My one complaint is, It can be a tiny bit quieter, but that doesn't really bother me because it can be programmed to do the work when you are away and it finds itself back to its home base. Yes, I program all of this to my Samsung phone. However, since this appliance is relatively new, I would have to give an update in a few months time. Samsung, I am waiting for you to call me to do your commercial. Rather than getting actors that has never used your appliances, you should invest in people that invest in you...JUSY SAYING!!!

We recently bought this microwave. We are a big family, so we need a large microwave. This one is large enough to fit all our needs. I truly recommend this item to anyone that is looking for a good quality appliance and full of features like cooking sensor. The design is great, with the controls on the glass it really look nice in our kitchen.

Great microwave. Love the easy clean inside. Splatters just wipe away. We make a lot of popcorn and were surprised when the system shut off automatically when it was done so it didn't burn. The moisture sensor really works. Was also easy to install. I agree with another reviewer that replacing the filter is going to be a major inconvenience. That's a crazy design flaw but I had read that before going in so that's on me. My only reason for not giving a five is because the fingerprint resistance is a little misleading. Yes, absolutely the black stainless is fingerprint resistant but the glass on the front where all the buttons are is not. Every time I press the numbers, turn on the fan or the light I've got to clean the glass. No biggy though. Wipes easy enough and take glass cleaner to it once a week and all new again.

So far this second units has been good. The first one has a horrible rattle/jackhammer sound as if a fan was hitting a guard. Best buy was very good at ordering a replacement. Its very powerful but seems to lack a few features we had on our old GE profile. Those are a one touch timer: hit the 1 and the microwave would run for 1 min. This samsung you have to press 1 0 0 and start. Minor complaint but I miss it. Also the 30 button has to be pushed then the start. Old GE wast just a 30 button push and it would start on its own. Another gripe is that the alarm/timer will beep once and stop. Maybe there is a option to keep it beeping until canceled like the GE. The problem with this is if you don't hear the single alert you will overcook everything. I now put a timer on another device if I'm baking food in the oven. Again minor gripes. Overall it's a nice slick microwave. Just remember that the door will swing out wider since its the entire front on the unit. Makes you back up a little when you use it.

We like the clean hand-less door. The handle brook off at the bottom connection on our previous Samsung microwave, so we glued it back on with "crazy" glue. The features are much the same as our last microwave oven, but it feels like it is quite wider since the controls are on the bottom of the door instead of on the side body of the oven. It heats food well, and microwave popcorn is perfectly popped.

Love the sleek design. Spacious room inside. Easy to wipe clean, especially the fingeprint marks.

First of all this is a great looking microwave oven. It is also very spacious and does an excellent job of preparing food. I haven't tried all of the options yet but to date everything I've tried has worked like a charm. The unit itself was very easy to install but using two people is highly recommended. I don't have any trouble with the buttons or how wide the door is as has been mentioned in quite a few reviews.

Very happy with my new microwave. Install was pretty easy, though hanging the template on the wall was a bit of a challenge. It did make it easy to know where to drill your holes. The microwave is modern and clean looking. I'm very happy with the performance as well and the quick button options.

This microwave was fairly easy to install and mount. It is extremely quiet, and cooks food well. The only thing I would like to see different with it is the ability to change the cooktop light color temp, the 6500k light does not match the rest of the lighting in my kitchen and is easily washed out by 2700K lightbulbs. The light works as a good nightlight.

so far, so good. just installed, looks great over the range. Easy to register product with Samsung using the provided QR code. Owners manual/instruction, other than very basic outline, requires download from Samsung website. Beverage button will heat liquid to drinkable temperature, not boiling. Use of the 30 sec button requires pressing start (as others have mentioned). Haven't used the sensor cooking, shelf, or warming/softening functions, but look forward to using them.

Purchased this to complete the look of our new appliances. It looks fantastic. It operates very easily. Buttons are easy to access since they're on the lower part of the microwave. This is helpful for my wife who is 4' 10". I love that there is no exposed handle. Food heats up great. I especially love the sensor cooking. It does not dry out food like our previous microwave.

Love the design of this microwave, it looks smooth and sleek with no handle sticking out. At first we were wondering where the cooking instruction book was. We realized quickly that you did not need one as everything is easily right on the microwave. There is more information when you open the door. So glad we bought this. My kitchen looks beautiful.

As with my other appliances, I haven't played with all of the features yet, but so far so good. Lots of room. Removeable rack is nice. Love that there's no handle to loosen (it's a cutout on the right side of the door) and it goes wonderfully with the no handles dishwasher and fridge.

I love the look of this microwave, it's really sleek. I love that it's smudge proof and easy to clean. It's also super quiet. My only regret is that I didn't buy it in the navy steel because I want to change out the rest of my appliances. Would recommend.
