It heats/cooks food evenly, just like and average unit. I like the sleek look and the fact that it does not have a handle. IMO, it makes it look so much cleaner. The black stainless steel makes it fairly easy to clean, as you can still see fingerprints on it. The one thing that I do miss is the fact that Samsung did not put a clock adjustment button on it. It is in the options menu. I miss it.

I don't like that in order to change the time you have to know the "option" number (It's 9, in case you need to know). I also do not like that I have yet (after one year) figured out how to use lower levels of microwave. When I need to run it on half power, I can't figure out how to do that.

I use it mostly with the shelf removed but love that I can have 2 levels for warming up 2 plates of food at once! My only complaint is that there isn't more of a comprehensive owners manual for ALL of the features. I had to figure them out on my own and I'm still not sure if I know how to use them all.
