Would NOT recommend!

This has been serviced 5 times (starting around 6 months after installation), with the original issue not being resolved. The microwave has a loud intermittent vibration sound that can be heard through out our living space. The door has been replaced and created new problems (door popping sound and intermittently starting on it's own when opened), without getting rid of that vibration sound. Too many Service Techs in our home (exposures) making too make excuses to why it might be doing it. They even told us that the reason why it came on when you open the door, was because we opened the door to slow....lol Amazing how after all these years (we're in our 60's), that we forgot how to open the door... So much time wasted on multiple calls to Samsung and behind around for the techs. Most calls to Samsung were appropriate, but the last call was horrible. Lots of wait times and explaining to multiple people what the problem was. The final department I was transferred to was extremely rude and disrespectful! I had spent more than 3 hours that morning and she's kept putting her on hold. I asked for a call back as I have really bad cell service at my home and was told they can't do that... That I should call back another day if I don't have time.... As if that whole morning wasn't enough?!

Nice microwave with large capacity

Does not heat after 3 months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this microwave in February 2019. It was installed approximately a week later. It worked fine for a little over 2 months, and then suddenly stopped heating. One day it only popped half a bag of popcorn, and then the following day, would not heat at all. Contacted Samsung customer service as it was under the manufacturer's warranty and made an appointment for repair. The 1st contractor did not show up for our scheduled appointment. The ticket through Samsung said they attempted to call us as they were waiting for a part that typically resolves the problem. We received no such phone call. We were advised by Samsung to contact the contractor, Lakes Electronics, directly to reschedule. They arrived on our 2nd scheduled appointment and replaced a part that did not fix the issue. They ordered a new part and scheduled a repeat visit for a few days later. They came back out with the new part, replaced it, and it still did not work. The repair guy called someone at his company and that person walked him through some other options, and he was able to get it working, tested and showed me it was working. Meanwhile, we'd been told via email by Samsung that we had to remove and install the microwave ourselves or be charged $50 each time. As the test proved it was working, we re-installed the microwave over the stove. The next day while attempting to re-heat two items, it worked on my first attempt, and then ceased to heat once again. I attempted to use it several more times and it still did not work. I contacted Samsung....again....and requested a new microwave. They said they would not replace it unless a repair person (of their choosing) stated it could not be fixed. So we scheduled another appointment. Now our 4th visit. The company sent this time was DISH. He replaced another part, and it still did not heat. Upon further testing he determined that it was a totally separate issue, which would require another part to be ordered. So our 5th appointment was set for 4 days later. A new technician arrived and replaced that part. Still no heat. Upon further testing he determined it once again, was a totally separate issue. So here we are, almost a month later, 5 appointments, several parts, and still no resolution. We have a new appointment scheduled for 2 days for now, with very little faith that it will work, or that Samsung will agree to replace the microwave. Beyond frustrated that the product is faulty after less than 3 months, and the customer service provided by Samsung leaves VERY little to be desired.

It doesn’t have a push button to open the door, you pull it from the side which I wasn’t a huge fan off. Also no fault of theirs, but it is really big. I didn’t realize the size when I ordered.
