||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About 1.5 years after purchase this microwave would beep maybe once a month and then display a '7' on the display. No one would be near it and it happened infrequently, so we thought nothing of it. Eventually, this was happening every day. Then, it would display '7777'. Then, the fan would turn on randomly without anyone being in the room. Then, the microwave turned on, with '7777' displayed. I checked with a service tech and was sent to a website - Samsung knew about this problem for a few years. They said this is a fire hazard and must be unplugged! But, I was never informed by Samsung, there were no recalls and they wanted me to pay for the repair. Be careful of Samsung.

There are couple of functionality issues with Samsung Microwave. 1) When exhaust fan is on Boost mode and you try to warm any food, exhaust fan slows down to medium on it's own. This doesn't help with fumes coming off of stove top cooking. 2) For quick cooking, you press 30 Sec button & then you have to press Start button, totally defeats the quick start. My previous 10 year old microwave had better functionality.
