Runs so quietly.....sometimes I need to touch the front of it to see if it's running!!!!Such a large capacity!!!Adjustable top shelf.....removable tines!!!At Christmas,I could wash all 4 place settings,plus 3 pots and stemware at one time!!!Fabulous!!!

I am very pleased with how sparkling my dishes are now. I hope it is water efficient as I live in California and there is a drought. My old dishwasher was broken and I was washing by hand but I heard that dishwashers actually use less water than washing by hand. We will see. It is also quieter than i thought it would be.

I bought the Samsung DW80F600UT dishwasher and cannot believe i lived wirh my old one dor so long. It has great space to put a lot of dirty plates , pots spoons, forks , knifes, you name it. Best thing is that is quiet , but lethal on the dirt. Everything I put on comes out very clean. Note: did not read the manual all the way through and could not understand why on my first wash the plates where still wet after the drying proces. The solution was simple, add the drying liquid solution to the compartment next to where you out the soap and presto. Your plates will be dyed and ready for storage. CONS: None at this time. Warning: the door for this model hangs low, almost touching the floor, so beware of this just in case you or someone else walks to the kitchen, is distracted , and by no paying attention, bumps into it. This dishwasher works very good, however I did not notice there was no drying feature when I purchased it. Some items come out very wet after using. It is my own fault for not noticing it did not have a dryer so I can't complain too much. Overall it works very good and my dishes come out very clean.

We opted for the non chef collection dishwasher on our recent kitchen upgrade. This machine is quiet, has a stainless interior and traditional rotating nozzle sprayers. The stainless exterior might be slightly different than the chef collection but it is difficult to notice. We've had a couple of dirty dishes come out so time will tell if this is a good dishwasher or a great one.

I was a little concerned about buying this unit after seeing lots of reported issues with cleaning performance and specifically drying issues. After using this for dishwasher for a month I can say that I have had no such problems. My dishes go in dirty and come out clean and dry, I don't really expect much more than that... As a bonus the unit looks great and is pretty quite.

Initially very happy with the unit. Looks great -- very clean front with the hidden controls and robust front handle. Very quiet and cleaned dishes well. Ran for quite a while, but not really a problem for us and also did not dry dishes well (we didn't use jet dry) but not really a problem for us as we just air dry or wipe off excess water. However, the unit stopped working with an error code after 2 weeks. Samsung sent someone in to fix it and he tried a few things that did not work and then tried to order a part. The part was on backorder and Samsung called a few days later to offer a replacement since the part would take too long to arrive. We were without a dishwasher for a month during all this (waiting for repair and then for replacement). After the new unit was installed, it started making a high pitched whine that could be heard throughout the house -- very annoying. Samsung suggested a kinked cord which I confirmed was not the case. They wanted to have the installer come back out and confirm proper installation before they sent another technician. At this point, I became very concerned about having 2 units have problems so quickly and worried about expensive repairs down the road after the 1 year warrantee ran out. We talked to Best Buy in Salem NH and they graciously agree to let us return it for another more reliable model from another vendor (even though we were now 2 months from original purchase date). I am still waiting on the replacement. Hoping it will be more reliable than the Samsung. Almost wishing I had kept my old whirlpool unit which worked for 13 years without ever having a problem (just wanted something quieter and more efficient). While this unit looks nice, is quiet, and cleans pretty well, reliability is the most important thing to me and this unit just does not seem to have that. On a positive note, Samsung was moderately helpful -- sent out original repair guy and offered to replace the unit when part was on backorder. While they would not pay for installation and insisted on having the second installer confirm repair before sending out the second repair guy, I thought they were not completely unreasonable. I give them 4 out of 10 on customer service. Meanwhile, Best Buy treated me exceptionally well. This was the Best Buy in Salem, NH (I assume you may get treated differently at different stores depending on staff). They paid for install on replacement Samsung and also agreed to let me return the unit well past the 14 day return time in their policy. They are also covering the install of the replacement unit (so they paid for 3 installs for the price of 1, which BTW was on sale). They were extremely responsive and helpful and went well beyond their policy and what most stores would do. I was very impressed and would give them a 10 out of 10 on customer service for this whole ordeal. They did everything within their control to make a pretty miserable situation less painful.

Because of the open floor plan of our house we have always had to do a delayed start on the dishwasher until sometime in the middle of the night so as not to disturb whatever activities we were doing in the evening. And even then it might wake us up. So we were looking for a nice, quiet dishwasher and were very pleasantly surprised with this one. In fact, we often have to lean down right next to it to make sure it is actually running, that is how quiet it is. Dishes are coming out cleaner and mostly dryer than our old dishwasher. The only thing I'd like to see added to this is the third rack that some dishwashers have for silverware and utensils.

Sixteen days into ownership and the lights began flashing and dishwasher became unresponsive. Best Buy wouldn't help because we didn't buy the Geek protection so we were only protected by them for 15 days but Samsung does have their automatic one year warranty. It took one week for the service person to come and he didn't have the right parts because a clerical error somewhere. He said it will be another week. We will see if they fix the problem on Tuesday. When the error came up, we found, by searching online, not through the Best Buy reviews, that there is a water sensor problem with Samsung dishwashers. The dishwasher was wonderful during its short life span. I will not buy any large items at Best Buy again....15 days is ridicules.

Easy to install, impeccable design & very quiet.. I thought it was not working after a couple of runs...but at 48 decibels it is hard to hear.. I can run it at night!!

Works and cleans really well. Good design. Very quiet. Was easy to install as I was replacing a KitchenAid (8 years old). Took a week or so to use the new racks to my advantage... More capacity as a result!

Purchased to replace 15 year old dishwasher. Does a great job washing my dishes and this machine matches other appliances in my kitchen nicely. The only reason I did not give it five stars that it does not fully dry the dishes even using the sanitation feature. Not a big problem for me and even with a little air drying, no spots.

love love love it. so quiet. had to wash dishes at night previous to this new samsung! when the television is on - you can't even hear it. also not sure why there are complaints about water being left on the dishes. yes, there may be a drop on top of a glass, but our previous one left all the dishes wet..... so i'm pretty happy!. i don't mind patting the tops of the coffee mugs. :-) you can put the silverware in the caddy or place in an individual manner. I can stack a lot of dishes 16 plates easily with the top completely full of cups and glasses. - all completely clean...and am loving that too.

after searching stores and the internet I was able to narrow my search parameters substantially. Because of past experience, with Samsung products, this dishwasher was a clear choice... the stainless tub, top of door controls and loading space. it is very quiet and does what it's supposed to do... clean the dishes.

Time to upgrade My house appliances 4stars Run cycle is quiet i like. Better dishwasher than one I had back in 1996 lol. Dislike takes lots of time to steam dry the dishes in the washer. Still hot and wet after one hour after washer is done.
