Our dishwasher is less than 3 years old and will need replaced. the motor makes a moaning sound, unit has poor water spray, and we have to constantly clean the unit. Operation consist of: * thoroughly rinse dishes, no food particles can be on the dishes * Run wash cycle, come back periodically to see if unit is leaking from the seals on door * empty "clean dishes" leave dirty ones inside * remove filter basket and clean * wipe black gunk from door seal, see picture below I would never recommend this dishwasher or other Samsung appliances. We have had issues with the Microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator

I got this pretty cheap, so I didn't expect the best. Got it bundled with other appliances. It doesn't clean well, no matter what you do. It started leaking after 14 months and erroring out. Replaced with a kitchen aid dishwasher, cleans MUCH better, same detergent, same water, no leaks.

I purchased this dishwasher Mar 30th, by June 1st it threw a sensor not allowing the machine to work. We called Samsung since it has a year warranty. They sent a person out. They said the float sensor was broken. The repairman called Samsung and they refused to cover it and said it was broken because of misuse. Then they voided the warranty. I am not sure how it was "misused". But here we are with a broken $431.79 dishwasher after 62 days of purchase, The repairman said the new sensor is so expensive that it would cost less to just purchase a new dishwasher, Ask any appliance repairman and he will confirm never to buy a Samsung appliance. It really gets me that these big companies don't stand behind their name. Buy Samsung at your own risk because I will never buy Samsung again,

Have used this dishwasher for 3 months now. It is truly the worst dishwasher I have owned. Does not clean the dishes and about a 1/4 of the dishes when the cycle is done need to be rewashed by hand. I have to throughly rinse the dishes off before putting them in and should just wash all by hand and Save time. I have used several kinds of dishwasher detergent and all seem to leave a residue on the middle section of the silverware holder. Wish it wasn’t too late to return this item. We installed a couple of months after we purchased and it we passed the time we could exchange / return.

This is the first Samsung appliance I have owned. Very disappointed in this product. The heated dry function does not work at all. It leaves water all over the dishes and you have to hand dry dishes. The price was very good. Guess you get what you pay for.

This thing was a piece of crap. It leaked. It didn't clean. It had a weird sensor on the bottom that triggered it off even when dry. I got so sick of it I threw it out and got an American made one from Lowe's.

I had this Samsung dishwasher less than a year when we started having trouble with it. The normal light kept blinking which indicates a leak sensor problem or actual leak. In my case it was the sensor. Expense fix as it was not covered under the warranty. Again less than a month later, the same problem occurred. I am sad I no longer have a working dishwasher and even sadder that I did not get a Best Buy warranty with it. If I could go back and do this all over again, I would not even have bought this machine.

We got our dishwasher and after about 30 days of use, it started making a buzzing sound at the beginning of the cycle and has now progressed to buzzing throughout the entire time it runs! So horrible. We have to run it at night because it is so horrendous. We have contacted Samsung and repair people have came. Stated they were ordering parts, vaguely. Two weeks later no parts and the case had been closed by Samsung yet we still have a buzzing dishwasher with no repairs. So now we are trying to open another claim to get this thing fixed. So frustrating! The only reason it has one star is because it still runs and cleans dishes.

We returned this dishwasher after one week of use. The tines to hold plates on the bottom rack are slanted and so close together that if you put a plate in every slot, they touch each other and nothing gets clean. So to get clean dishes, you have to skip a slot between plates, therefore, you can wash about 5 plates per load. The top rack is just as bad. Drinking glasses don’t fit along either side - due to an odd ridge along each side if you try to put drinking glasses, they just fall over. I would never ever recommend this dishwasher to anyone.

Purchased this dishwasher, used it for about 7 months (not even everyday) and had the drain pump go out. We didn't use it everyday because this particular dishwasher didn't dry very well either. I tried everything to get dry dishes with no luck. We always had to dry them by hand if we wanted dry dishes. Maybe our dishwasher was just a fluke with the issues but I'm not willing to take another chance with a samsung dishwasher.

We purchased 3 Samsung appliances at the same time. The refrigerator and stove have been wonderful. This dishwasher has not been as advertised from the beginning. It is supposed to be quiet, but it is anything but. Runs very loudly. Had a repairman out who replaced a fan and said that was the problem. Quiet for a few days, but then right back to previous. It cleans dishes but they are still wet and spot badly.

I'm not sure if I got a faulty dishwasher or if this product is just bad. The dishwasher hums extremely loud & the dishes stay wet! I even ran the dishwasher before I left for a few days & when I got back the dishes were still WET!!!! Yes I used the heated dry & all the different options & no changes.

this unit came with a bad water pump and Samsung doesn't seem very interested in fixing it in a timely manner. I have owned it for almost a month and haven't been able to get Samsung to fix it. Finally I just had Best Buy replace it.

Good brand, good looking dishwasher but it doesn’t clean well and it says it has heated dry but it doesn’t work and apparently it’s a flaw in their design but they won’t do nothing about it. Water is left standing on dishes. We have to open it at the end of the wash so the water will dry up.

Despite reading all the negative reviews on this unit I still bought it so that my appliances would match. I called Samsung the first day of use because the dishes were not drying at all. They were washed in sanitize mode as well as heated dry mode. Long story short, after much back and forth with Samsung, the repairman says the unit is working as designed but the vent doesn't open enough to let the steam escape hence the condensation on the dishes(major design flaw Samsung). Even worse, even though this was delivered only 3 weeks ago and installed 2 weeks ago, Best Buy says I'm outside of the return period. I am now stuck with an absolutely beautiful piece of junk.

Disappointed with the Samsung dishwasher I purchased at Best Buy. It’s been malfunctioning for the past month but what is extremely disappointing is Best Buy customer service/lack of response in helping me with a repair.

After about a week of use the dishwasher has slowly gotten to where it dries the dishes less and less now at 8 to 9 months of regular use my dishes are always soaking wet and moist whenever they are done the heated dry option has never worked it has poor circulation for are in the fan in the front of the unit that blows out the air whines and hums and makes all sorts of terrible noise and does not work really at all so all of the heat and steam moisture stays in on your dishes making them soaking wet.

Drove 70 miles removed old working dishwasher installed Samsung which never worked from the get-go heater element not working door would not open to vent since it was new I called to have it repaired no repair person in the area I was left with two choices they almost $300 more for another dishwasher or get my money returned I chose the second the worst thing about the whole deal was my parents were without a dishwasher for 3 weeks since Samsung said not to remove the dishwasher and tell the claim was resolved then I got to drive another 70 miles and swap the dishwashers all in all the discounts on open-box aren't always a good idea if you can't check the product before purchasing

I would not recommend this dishwasher to anyone, it made a very loud noise from the very beginning when we bought the the thing, it was annoying, but we just assumed it was the way it was meant to be, we came to find out it was not after having someone work on our Samsung Refrigerator tell us that the dishwasher should not be making that sound. Needless to say both the refrigerator and dishwasher have both been replaced though our geek squad protection plan with a whirlpool refrigerator and dishwasher! DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES! They are trash !
