Imagine an AMOLED screen without ghosting/glowing around light-colored objects on a black background, that can handle 4K resolution without batting an eye, all while still running at 240Hz and this is what we're deal with on the Neo G8! This is without a doubt the sharpest, most vivid, most awe-inspiring monitor I've ever used! The curve is just enough that regardless of distance from the screen, any spot you look at is the same distance from your eyes, allowing for full and complete immersion into the scene you're watching/playing! LED on the back side of the panel is great for those RGB enthusiasts as it provides an ambient glow behind the monitor. Working on documents? You can flip the monitor 90 degrees and have all the scroll space you'd ever need. This is the most impressive monitor I've used, and just think, it's available in a 55" model as well (who has the space?) NOTE: The monitor weighs in at over 25lbs - make sure your desk can hold it as mine has caused me to start shopping for a newer desk since I'm seeing some bowing on the monitor platform - I don't want to see this monitor cause the whole thing to come crashing down!

This review is on a Samsung 32" Odyssey Neo G8 (LS32BG852NNXGO). By far one of the best gaming monitors to get, unless you are looking for something cheaper or larger. Monitor was easy to setup right out of the box. Only five screws to tighten. Put the arm on first to give room to twist it around. Then put the base on next. Finally, you can pull it out of the box by the arm only. It has 2 HDMI, 1 DP, 2 USB and 1 Headphone In. There are NO speakers built into this expensive monitor. Something that should have been built in with this price range. I know this is a gaming monitor but even low grade speakers would have been fine. There is a PC cable to connect to your PC but as far as I can find it only turns your monitor into a USB hub. This monitor does have Core lighting built in. There are two lines on the front left and right and the Core in the back that light up with custom scenes. The back light is really cool and it reminds me of the exhaust from a jet. In my opinion though it is not very bright. I have similar products that are way brighter than was is put out from this monitor but it still adds a nice touch. The monitor can be put in just about any position you desire. It also comes with a wall mount brace but not an actual wall mount. This is my first curved screen and I have to say I like it especially for gaming. Now on to gaming. Picture is absolutely amazing. Even makes my old game from 2015 look better. I first tried playing at 120Hz and could notice an improvement, but when I switched to 240Hz. WOW. Motion is so smooth and realistic. You just have to experience. Now, I can't say this makes me unbeatable but this definitely helps my gameplay. My aim seems little better, but not by much, but my reaction time is way better. When I first started using the monitor I did notice some flickering and some horizontal lines but so far thankfully haven't seen them again. Again, one of the best gaming monitors to own.

So far this monitor has been everything I wanted it to be. I had been comparing versus a 38" monitor and I'm glad I went with this model instead. This is *almost* too big but is perfect for gaming immersion. It's easy to use and navigate, easy to update firmware, and looks amazing.

So far, this has been the best display I have ever used for gaming. The 32" display is the perfect size for an immersive experience while gaming. The curved shape of it also provides a unique aspect to your gaming experience. The display itself is extremely sharp and crisp. The assembly of the monitor was very easy. You attach a bracket to the back of the monitor and then the legs. You can also mount the monitor with an included bracket. Everything about the monitor feels very sturdy and high quality. You can tell this is not a cheap entry level monitor. After connecting to my Asus ROG laptop, it prompted me to install a Samsung software to enable a split window feature. I installed it and it was pretty nice. It allows you to use the large display size as two separate zones. This was a useful feature, but I quickly disabled it in order to run some games on it. The first game I tried was GTA V on Steam. The open world environment flowed perfectly with the sharp display. I did not alter any video or display settings in the game. It ran beautifully and I had no issues with jitter or lag. I quickly fell in love with this monitor. I then launched NBA 2K, and that game displayed with no issues. I even streamed some videos online and found that the videos displayed nice and clear in full screen mode. I loved everything I watched on this monitor. My wife now wants to steal it for her home office for work, however I told her that it was strictly for gaming.

Let me simply say I am not Samsung's biggest fan but that could be changing very rapidly. I connected my PlayStation 5 and my desktop to this monitor and it is everything they say it is and then some. The colors and the anti-lag is amazing. I did have to tweak a few of the settings between the PlayStation 5 and the desktop computer, but all in all the vibrant colors, the speed and the capability of keeping up is just unreal. I'm really getting the most out of my PlayStation 5. Furthermore, I actually upgraded to a slightly better HDMI cable. The ones I had were 2.0 and I upgraded to 3.1 and you can definitely see a difference. I played the most colorful games I could find on PC. It was bejeweled and a few other games but bejeweled stood out, and on the PlayStation 5 I played Stray, It's an independent game but the color scheme and the movement were the test and not only did it pass it Earth shattered expectations of what a computer monitor should be. There's no question. I'm going to keep my PC connected to it, but I might need to get two or three more for my PS5 and my other personal business, can't wait to try a few videos and and editing see if I have the same results.

Great monitor nice startup time and easy to manage settings menu. Only downside is the output of heat from the screen but I use it for hours on end

I tell you guys this Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 is crazy good monitor. But you need know or find the best of settings for games and desktop and movie. BTW with this settings monitor look very good on PC Cyberpunk 2077 and HDR. Some told us in Youtube video about this model monitor Samsung Neo G8. You have to know how to work the options on the monitor itself to be able to get these visuals ! Local Dimming High Cinema Brightness 100 Saturation 58 Gamma Mode 2 Sharpness 56 to 60 Contrast 80 Contrast Enhancer On or Off Black Equalizer 13 or 11 to 15 SDR or HDR --- Make sure set on output color depth 10-bit with SDR in PC This also look good on some games and movie with this one settings. I also have the G7 at 1440 p and i love both of these monitors!! bumping to 4k is very noticeable and with unreal engine 5 games starting to come out i am very happy!

I have no complaints thus far. It was a little more than I would normally spend but everything looks great.

I have owned a lot of different computers/TV/phone products. I can say I have been happy with all my previous purchases till the G8. I don’t have any complaints concerning the execution of the G8, it has reacted quickly and correctly to all my inputs. I am a little upset with the design of the G8. I had intended to put the monitor on a monitor arm which would clear up a huge amount of clutter on my desk. But, it appears Samsung has made attachment to their monitors priority. Current monitor’s stand has two legs, which extend 12” out and 22” across. Takes up much more space than my older monitor. Also, no one seems to acknowledge the monitor has no sound, mike or camera.

I tested out the alienware oled, and the samsung neo qled g7. This blows the g7 out of the water. If brightness is a concern, dont be worried this display gets plenty bright. This is very similar to the alienware oled, but it does get alot brighter. Build quality is good, putting the stand on is easy. The mini display port to display port cable works great for my nvidea 4090. Highly recommend this monitor!

Have this monitor from July 2023, good colors, fast response, very good picture quality by blurring, mostly playing Couter Strike and WarZone, LIKE IT A LOT !
