Clothes come out cleaner, smell better, (HE detergent) and washes large loads. The high speed spin cycle removes allot more water than our old top load washer, saving energy dollars on the dryer. The spin cycle auto corrects load imbalance, and virtually eliminates vibration - no more freight trains running through the laundry room! Great washer, highly recommend! (Be sure to level the washer)

I had been researching a new washer/dryer for several months and had narrowed my choices. I was looking at the base models (white) since the price was right and wasn't sure if I could justify the higher priced ones (platinum). After asking more questions I am glad I purchased the platinum versions as there are more options to chose from and the platinum looks very really nice in the laundry room. I also purchased the drawers and am glad for all the extra space. The units sit high enough now to be accessible and also with the drawers it makes it much easier to clean the washer (just put a bucket underneath). I think if the unit sat direct on the floor you wouldn't be able to get a bucket under to collect the water. I am glad I spent the extra $ to get the higher options. Also, I was skeptical about washing a comforter; but it actually does. I have also been able to wash our pillows and since the spinner cycle works so well, they are practically dry when they come out of the washer. And since you can wash so much more with each load we only have 3-4 loads a week now (we are a small family). It also has an active wear cycle; my husband works outdoors so, his clothes are sometimes smelly; this cycle makes the clothes smell fresh again. Also, a great feature is the delay cycle. I can get the washer all ready and set the timer to start at a later time. I highly recommend getting the platinum versions if you want all the options.

I was nervous about spending this much money on a washer, but after using this washer for more than 1 month, I LOVE it! The spin cycle dries my clothes so well and my clothes are actually clean. I didn't realize how badly my old washer worked/ didn't work. My eczema has also slowly disappeared because the soap residue is also getting washed off my clothes. There are way more functions and cycles than I really need, but I love that I still have those options available .

I love my Samsung washer, it cleans my clothes wonderfully and the spin cycle is so good that my clothes are practically dry by the time it’s done. The only issue I had is where the detergent/softener/bleach goes…when it rinses the detergent out, some water stays in the reservoir so I have to let it air dry when I’m done with it. With all my front loaders I’ve had to do this before because you don’t want any chance of mold or mildew. I also leave the door open when I’m finished using it to let it air dry so I doesn’t start smelling. I’ve had this washer for three weeks and so far it’s the greatest one I’ve owned. Love it!

Very happy with this purchase. Takes laundry day to the next step with advanced features and efficient cleaning. Steam feature helps remove dirt and the many cycle variations offer great options for a particular tripe of cleaning. From small, gentle, delicate with a soft spin, to the bedding plus which can handle a large down comforter. Love this machine.

I love my washing machine! When our five year old Whirlpool Duet died on Christmas Day, we called out a service person, who told us that it would be $550 to replace the board. We had already looked at Best Buy and learned that we could get a replacement Duet for $650, so that was our intention. However, as I explored more, I found that I could get this Samsung washing machine (far superior to the Whirlpool one) for $563 (including tax and delivery) because it had two small dents. Yea! When the washing machine was delivered, it was set up very professionally (not only did they set up my new washing machine, he switched the side with the dryer so that it was easier to go from washer to dryer without the doors in the middle). The manual was online, so after playing a little, we looked online to see the best way to use the washing machine. It is very quiet, very easy to use and works really well. We are still learning what all the cycles do, but have not had any problems. I would definitely recommend this washing machine!

I can't believe how quiet this washer is! It makes very little, if any, sound. I love the huge capacity and the many features! I highly recommend this machine!

I am so so happy with this machine. I can fit 3x the amount if clothes and they come out squeaky clean. Tons of features and can even wash wool. What's not to like?

I can't believe how fast this washer works. On top of that, since it uses less water and more efficiently spins out what it does use, the dryer works even faster. (I bought both washer and dryer and love them both). I can't believe it but the dryer works even faster than the washer! I can get my weekly laundry done in one evening. The washer has a delayed start function that I thought I'd never use. Wrong. I load the clothes in the morning and set it to start just before I get home. They haven't been laying all wet for the day accumulating wrinkles. I swap them out, put in another load and am ready to put away the first load, all nicely dried, after about 20 minutes. In my wildest dreams, I never thought I would ever get excited about laundry equipment. On a separate note, the guys from Best Buy who delivered my machines were wonderful. I had just repainted walls and they were exceptionally respectful of them and successfully made every effort not to cause any dings or marks on the walls and they had to schlep washer and dryer up to second floor by stairs and remove the old ones. Couldn't ask for better service.

This machine is easy to use and works great and is so quiet. Lots of settings for anything I need to clean and I love the steam cleaning option.

Excellent price, huge capacity - fits kingsized comforters! Wide choice of programs, nice look (looks like stainless steel), so quiet I have to come downstairs to check it's still running.

My 5 year old Kenmore started leaking. Truth be told - I never loved it. So off I went to search for new washer/dryer. This one got great reviews but I kept thinking - SAMSUNG - REALLY??? Well, let me tell you - YES SAMSUNG REALLY!!! It is quiet. It doesn't wrinkle everything like my old one or tie all the clothes into knots. it uses less water, less energy and my clothes are cleaner than EVER. I am someone who LOVES to do laundry. (yes we exist) :) This makes me even happier. I am so excited to use it. Highly recommend

Needed a new dryer. Decided to replace washer too. Didn't spend too much time pondering. This one has plenty of features that I'll probably never use. Nice to have though. Is very quiet to me. Our old GE top loader was a noise champ. Not the Samsung. Ours is in the basement laundry room on concrete, so maybe that helps. Laundry is cleaner than the old machine. It comes out drier than before. That makes for less dryer time. We DID NOT get the stands. They probably work well, but we allocated the $$ to other needs.

This is a review after about one month use of this washer/dryer set. So far, we love our new washer/dryer. The overall performance is amazing. Although we haven't tried out all the fancy amenities yet, both the washer and the dryer have performed beyond our expectations for normal laundry tasks. We have a set of towels that produced a lot of lint which we couldn't get rid of in our old washer/dryer. This set got rid of all the lint immediately after the first wash. We were very impressed by that. If I had to nitpick, I would only complain about the fact that the dryer dial settings are difficult to see when you have the dryer stacked on top of the washer. Luckily, we have stairs right next to the washer/dryer so we can stand on the steps to see the top settings on the dial. This is not a big deal for us, so no stars off the rating. But if you're not a tall person and have nothing around to step on, you will definitely have a hard time seeing the top setting labels and the red led selection lights on the big round dryer dial. This of course only applies if you use these units stacked vertically.

In Love with this washer! Clothes wash Clean,Washer is silent and Looks great!! Does not Vibrate and make much noise!! Looks amazing and uses a small amount of water!!

Other than the high price I have been very pleased with the performance of the unit. Easy to use, excellent cleaning, multiple modes. Skip the high priced stand

I was a little nervous buying a Samsung washer, more so because I knew of Samsung being a great TV but an appliance, come on. Wow was I wrong, we love our Samsung washer, easy to use, and lots of settings\options. Very pleased.

I cannot rave about this set of washer and dryers enough. This is my second set of front loader Samsung washer and dryer. I love the platinum color but that is just one of the many wonderful things about this washer. There are settings for your every need, the cycles are all very quiet, and everything comes out clean and not sopping wet! I love Samsung products!

I was surprised by both how quiet and how efficient this washer is from Samsung. I'm pleased with the high capacity of the washer, which helps make doing laundry go a little quicker. I haven't yet had an opportunity to try getting tough stains out, but I can say that some of the settings do a great job of getting wet-dog smell out of blankets and clothes!

Steam settings are wonderful. Don't have to watch what I buy for fear of paying pricy cleaners to dry clean my clothes. Very quiet. Perfect for large family with lots of laundry. Had to buy matching dryer too....love this set.
