The tv looks amazing, sounds awesome, and super easy to set up. The only thing is if you are a gamer, you want to make sure you change your picture setting to game mode, if you don't you will experience motion blur, might not bother some people, but for me I couldn't stand it without game mode.

I have had the tv for about a month now and love it. The picture is great, the smart tv functions work well, and my Xbox One performs well on it with almost no noticeable lag. As far as cons the remote could stand to be a little better. It would help if it was backlit, and even though I have set up other devices it does not power them down when I attempt to. Also, sometimes in the middle of watching tv or playing games the screen will get noticeably darker and stay that way until picture settings are changed. Ps I really like the way the natural setting looks, the sports mode and game mode are a little too bright for my tastes as it is in a dark room.

Couldn't be happier with this purchase. First I was downsizing from a 65" Sony 4K television and was worried this would feel to small and not be able to compete with the presentation of it but boy was I in for a surprise. The colors on this television really come to life and the bezel is nearly none existent which makes it feel larger than 55". I have this next to my balcony windows and sliding door and the sunlight doesn't disrupt the quality of the image. All viewing angles are crisp and sharp while also having a nice flow to its smart television applications. I would highly recommend this television and I am glad I came back to Samsung!

Read lots of reviews and for the price, this seemed the best available. I wasn't disappointed once installed. Easy to set up and start using the advanced features. Picture is stunning! Can't really comment on the sound as I connected a Sonos sound bar (which is also amazing). Even the Magnolia sales guy said this was the best value for money in the store. Only request would be more apps via the store..I assume they will come over time.

Picture quality is good. Not as good as the 2 year old 4k samsung flagship that I have but still good for the money. Picture is great. HDR looks amazing. Some clouding but to be expected from an edge lit LED TV. All in all for the price, this TV is worth every penny.

I was TV hunting as my former TV was starting to show it's age and speakers were dying and so forth. I was looking around at BestBuy and other places for something new, something maybe in the 4K range and did some comparison shopping between a Samsung 4K, LG 4K and Sony 4K TVs. All were great and had their own perks, I found that this Samsung had what I needed, it had great reviews from other people and the picture quality is beyond awesome. So many picture modes for movies, regular TV and games. The colors are solid and not washed out, the blacks are black, the picture movement is smooth and seems like you are right there with them.

What can I say that hasn't been said by everyone else? This TV provides all-around excellent picture quality in all situations. 4K videos are unassailable. HDR contents are automatically detected by the TV. The brightness also is a major plus. You won't find many (if any) brighter TV at this price range. 1080p and lower resolutions are upscaled without any distortions. Only minor quibble I have is that the blutooth connection to my Bose soundbar can sometimes be hit and miss. right now is the best time to buy this TV because the price has been falling to clear out the inventory to make room for the 2017 models.

This one of the TV's I would recommend getting after doing extensive research on two other brands. This one features true HDR and suggest you always YouTube model number and brand for a TV you are interested in. This TV offers a great picture without calibration of settings right out of the box along with great sound from stock TV. My only problem with this TV is the Samsung Smart TV apps can be hit or miss on loading up and somewhat laggy. Not a big deal since I have other ways of streaming which I'm sure everyone does. All and all, by this TV!

I bought this tv $400 off from a black friday promotion. Picture is amazing! Navigating is a breeze. The remote for this tv picks up all of the devices I have connected to the HDMI ports automatically and controls each of them(Comcast cable and firestick) . Most/all cable remotes are universal and can control everything, but this remote takes the headache out of troubleshouting a bunch of codes for each device. The HDMI ports are in a box extended from the back of the tv that gives you flexibility when mounting on a wall. I cant say enough about this tv. I'm very happy with this purchase.

We wanted a flat screen with smarthub options. We had a flat screen smart Samsung TV before we purchased this TV. Technology has improved vastly since our smart TV purchase 6 years ago. We are happy with this TV. The only difficulty we had was the stand. We preferred Samsung's single center stand/arm on the previous TV. The legs on this new Samsung TV were too far out from the center and seemed less sturdy. It forced us to get a wall mount, when we were happy with the previous Samsung smart TV standing on the base. Our previous TV was stolen, so we had no choice but to buy new.

Easy set up as I am only streaming Netflix through this TV and not hooking up to cable. Haven't watched any Ultra 4K content yet to see an incredible picture, but I am very happy with the overall picture. In 'movie' mode some of the night/darker scenes looked pixelated and purple around the edges. I tweaked color settings a little more and that issue has improved. Sound is good through the internal speakers. Space on back of set to hide the cables is woefully small and practically useless. Currently using the two V shaped legs which are fine, but they make turning the TV to a good viewing angle more difficult than a center stand. Eventually will wall mount the TV. Overall very pleased with this purchase. Would have given the TV 5 stars but for the high price. Even on sale I'm not really sure this is worth the extra $$.

I thought my ten-year-old plasma tv was just fine. I was wrong. This tv has an incredible picture and is easy to use. Cords: it comes with a single cord that plugs into the back of the tv--you run that cord through the wall and is has inputs for dvd, etc That way only one cord goes through the wall. I re-used a older tv mount and had to switch out the mounting bolts--needed longer bolts--check that before you get to far into installing. Happy with the purchase.

The rep at Best Buy guided me to the 8 series. He illustrated the dramatic difference in picture quality and performance over the 6 and 7 series. Saving me a few dollars, he also illustrated the differences between the 9 series and the proposed 8 series were minimal. This TV is stunning. I plugged in all my devices and my TV recognized them all. To my surprise, the remote actually controlled all the devices! Yes, my Apple TV, Xbox One, and Playstation. No need to buy a universal remote. I didn't have to configure the remote either. It just worked. This is a great TV.

Patiently waited for the price to come down, but we are not disappointing. The bezel on this model of TV is almost non existent, its very thin, the picture quality is amazing and the menu included to swap between the apps is very functional. The Smart remote is impressive, I barely had to do anything and it controls 3 of my devices. The sound is good enough, but if you want a full experience you may opt for a soundbar. Only small issue is the feet for the stand are not adjustable as in the larger version, so the TV barely fit on our existing stand, but it did fit.

I tried the lower model first and it was very lack luster. After a day of messing with all the settings I took it back and got this model. From the minute I set it up I went straight to Amazon and watched a few 4k shows and was over joyed with the picture. The remote is small and doesn't have a lot of buttons which is nice after you get used to using it. Simplicity is nice. The hub box that is used for all connections...why? Its just something else to mount, get broken and dust around. I don't wall mount my flat panels so I might be the minority in disliking this feature. The user interface is easy to navigate for set up along with the installed apps. To date I have had no issues with software or hardware. Overall I give it a 4, would be a 5 if all the ports and connections were built in.

Bought this TV just prior to Black Friday and got same price. It took me awhile to hook it up cause needed a new stand. Picture is great, both for cable but especially with new 4K DVD palyer. I did not think I would like the new controller but once I got the hang of it, it works very well. I hooked TV to a Samsung soundbar and really enjoy the sound that way. TV sound is OK but soundbar much better. Not quite sure why Samsung hand to create a seperate connection box. No component inputs on the TV, so would be difficult to use older devices with it.

Tv is phenomenal, looks beautiful, sound thru tv is really good, worth the $999 sale, no issues what so ever, ive had this since black friday last year, if you get a chance to get one, dont hesitate, you will not regret the purchase

This TV looks amazing. It is very user friendly and the 4k with ultra HD looks so vivid. The smart TV menu is really fast and user friendly!

I love this TV. Its very bright. The colors pop. The smart features are awesome. I love the remote control. This TV is easy to use. Great TV.
