My wife and I ended up buying this particular TV after spending (what seemed like) eons looking at all of our options in-store. All we knew is that we wanted a new, bigger TV. After talking to multiple employees, including a Samsung specialist, we decided on this TV, based on features and price. We've had it hanging on the wall for a while now and we have been extremely happy with the crisp colors and the sharp image of the set. The bultt-in smart features, like the Netflix app, have also made us thankful for upgrading.

Super easy to install and even easier to navigate. It looks beautiful and the sound is also amazing. I'm in love with my new TV!

We went from a Panasonic Plasma 42" to this new Samsung 4K 8series 55" silver. The color is brilliant and crisp! Love the large screen! I was told that coming from plasma we may be disappointed but not the case at all! The blacks are blacker and the detail is outstanding. It's like getting a new pair of eyeglasses - now we notice all the detail that we didn't see before. We did buy a sound bar with subwoofer to enhance the sound. We feel like we now have the theatre experience in our family room! Love it!

Bought this tv after hours of research. I am not disappointed. Only problem was that it did not receive a signal from my receiver and would need to be unplugged and reinserted to work. A software update seemed to fix it. The apps get frozen after a few days of being opened as you cannot close them individually. A restart fixes this. Great visual quality and I'm very happy with the picture and the price.

Couldn't be happier with this TV. Setup was easy to all my devices(Xbox One, Yamaha Receiver, Chromecast). Builtin software (Tizen maybe?) is super fast and packs many great features. It makes it easy to access the 4k content that is available right now through Netflix, Youtube and Google Play Movies. Want to see how amazing this picture really is. Go to Youtube and search "4k Landscapes" It will blow your mind. Best purchase I have made and got a great deal during "BLACK FRIDAY" weekend.

We wanted to move up to Ultra High Definition. This 4K tv produces a beautiful picture with excellent dynamic range. We're also enjoying its smart features. Only complaint is that not all apps work with an external wireless keyboard. This may have nothing to do with Samsung and everything to do with the individual app developers, but it would be nice to be able to use a keyboard for all purposes.

I was looking for a good mid-level 4K Tv and HDR was one of my key features(as well as making sure it has the ability to actually show HDR, not just read it). The TV looks great, 4K looks awesome(as well as upscaled HDTV), HDR looks great, I haven't tried 4K gaming yet as I'm waiting on Scorpio, but if the everything else is a sign it should be just what I wanted. Lastly, it has pretty good sound, I have a sound bar and I find myself most times just using the KS8000's speakers.

I gathered all the information I could to make the best decision on my tv purchase within the constraints of my budget. Additionally, this was the first tv that my husband and I would have bought in almost 30 years of marriage. We were accustomed to receiving friends' and families' discarded tvs. The level of picture quality was average at best. That added to the desire for an amazing viewing experience in our home, having yet to experience it. I spent hours over the Black Friday weekend going from store to store in Hamburg. Standing and looking at tv after tv. Thinking and asking questions. And I prayed because I knew God could/would help me make a wise decision. OLED was way beyond my budget. And SUHD was pushing the ceiling on it. So I was trying to decide between that and UHD. Your store's layout of the three 55 inch Samsungs helped to clench the deal as I carefully watched and compared them. The 10 bit wide color gamut was a big selling point. And you were offering a 55 inch for just 100 more than a 49 inch. Research helped me to make the jump from previously having a 40 inch to a 55 inch even though my room was small. I read that I should go bigger than I thought I could. Finally, Alex was the best rep. He was so relaxed, informative and patient on the last day of the busiest weekend of the year. He checked back while I was mulling over last second hesitations. And he didn't come across at all as pushy. He really helped me make a very important decision for my family while feeling peaceful. Every friend and family member who has enjoyed our tv with us so far has given it such high accolades. It's such an enjoyable high-quality viewing experience. For the money, it was the most realistic, crisp detail, rich color picture that I could find. I wanted to feel like I was there as I was watching and that was achieved. We couldn't be happier!!

We have had this TV for just over a year! It works great, except that I am often having to reset it back to original settings to be able to connect to the internet to watch on apps. This is a TV issue and not my internet provider issue. Besides that picture is good and it works great.

I originally went for a 7 Series (which was good), but the picture and the capabilities of this TV are fantastic! Oh...and it comes with a universal remote, that I can give verbal commands! Way cool! This TV is a little heaver than I thought it would be, but still much lighter than my old 48" Flat screen LCD. If you were to purchase this TV, I think you would be very happy with it.

The Samsung KS8000 range is a good choice for gamers looking for a capable, yet relatively affordable display. The set supports 4K and HDR, and games and movies that take advantage of these can look totally amazing. Regular 720p and 1080p/i content looks good too. Input lag in game mode is very low compared to other sets, and games feel fast and responsive. The set suffers from a few problems that many other LED/LCDs suffer from such as poor viewing angles, but after trying several other models I've found the KS8000 to be the best LED/LCD set I've tried overall. You would need to upgrade to OLED to solve these issues, which would mean spending twice as much.

Great Picture with very little motion blur. Easy intuitive remote control. Streaming movies in 4K couldn't be easier.

I am happy with this purchase. Color and clarity is great and apps work great on it! Glad I finally made the purchase.

Our Samsung 4k UHD TV is a nice TV. It has a very crisp picture and is easy to set up. The menus are intuitive and easy to navigate. The neat thing about this TV is its actually a monitor with the TV related electronics contained in a separate external "box". The idea behind this is when its time to upgrade one just needs to upgrade the external box and not the whole TV.

I had done a lot of research on tvs before buying this one. I got a week before the Superbowl for a great price. Picture is great, the sound is actually good without a sound bar. The interface is pretty simple and so is the remote. The remote is actually really efficient. The apps all load fast. The only drawback is sometimes the netflix app will go awry and I need to unplug my tv to fix it. Other than that the tv is great for movies, sports, and video games.

This tv is great. Awesome picture and great for gaming. Just make sure you set the tv mode to gaming and that takes care of the lag. When streaming hdr from netlix (like marco polo) what an ultra clear picture. I have no problems with this tv. Mounted it to the wall because of small children. I will be buying the bigger version of this tv for media center real soon.

I am a very picky TV owner and this TV blew my expectations out of the water. I primarily bought the TV for gaming and watching sports. The TV supports my now PS4 Pro and Xbox One S with 4K and HDR. The picture on this TV is by far the best I have ever seen. The OLED line may have a better picture, but for this price, you won't find a better looking picture.

I purchased this TV after reading many reviews, watching many reviews and going to look at three different TV's for an hour. I had this TV, Vizio's P series and the Sony 850D. I talked with two different Best Buy reps, who were very helpful, and spent almost an hour looking at the three. I always seemed to go back to this model when looking at them in the store. I purchased this model in 55" and I am very pleased. TV was easy to setup and picture out of the box wasn't bad. After some tweaking, pictured looked better. Sound isn't bad, but I ended up going and getting a Samsung 4.1 surround sound system and it is a lot better. I did finally figure out where some of the better settings were for the picture and now it is even better than it was after I did my first set of tweaks.

This is the top rated 4K LED display for gaming by rTings and it is great. I use it with a PS4 Pro to get 4K UHD HDR display and it is as good as advertised. Plenty bright. Honestly it is the one to get. I have no complaints. This is also a very advanced smart TV with a nice remote, and excellent Netflix, Amazon, etc. support. It also works with Bluetooth headphones which has been great for watching movies without disturbing the household.
