Vibrant picture, exquisite colors and ease of use describes this masterpiece! Besides the picture and colors, one of my favorites is the ease with which you can switch between apps. It is really smooth sailing!

I use to have q8fn and upgraded to Q80R I’m so surprised how much better it is. The picture is so clean and looks so smooth. The blacks are so much better on this tv too and it is very snappy with its web os.

The Best Buy rep, Timothy, at the 5850B University Dr NW, Huntsville, AL store was awesome to work with. He was fluent with all the TV's I ask him about and I recommend him. I bought this Samsung because I have had 5 Samsungs before (various sizes and prices) and love them all. Samsung TV's last for many years (donated two as I got newer units and still have three). I particularly love this 4K TV for the ultra sharp picture and accurate color it provides. I also bought the Q60 sound bar to go with it (made to work with this TV) and the sound is awesome. Thanks Best Buy! Note- I bought this TV and sound bar last year and they are both still working perfectly.

It’s astounding how much better this picture is over my high def lcd tv it replaced. One thing you may notice is how television series you watch will look strange, rather like a daytime soap opera. I adjusted the sharpness down some and it looks much more natural than at first. Only one month so far, but we’re extremely pleased so far!

Best investment I've ever made. Blacks are amazing, screen is crystal clear, and the gaming on this is beautiful. You couldn't ask for a better tv. I love the upscaling and smoothing of a lot of shows.

I am very pleased with the picture quality. The small remote is not easy to use. The home screen is extremely busy. However , the fact that other remotes will trigger the source, makes up for this

Disclaimer: We are a Samsung household; phones, tablets, TVs, soundbars, etc. They all work seamlessly. This Q80 was an upgrade over previous Samsung 6400 series. Kept size at 55" because it fits perfectly on the wall. Picture quality is a massive upgrade. Also, the older 6400 series model kept disconnecting from soundbar. Could get it hooked up again but it was a pain. On the new Q80 model, never a problem. Quite honestly, this could be my favorite TV ever. There have already been times that I have remarked watching games has been like I have been looking through a window; it is that clear. Bought on Black Friday sale. Excellent value for price paid.

Love this tv. Such a clear picture. I did a lot of research and found it is definitely worth the bit of extra money to get the Q80. The Q60 or the Q70 don't have nearly as good of a picture. The Q80 was said to be just about as good as the Q90, with a much smaller price tag. It was said that you would not really be able to see the difference between the two. Everytime I watch it I remark at how crystal clear the picture is and how vibrant the colors are. I am so happy I went on the Best Buy site, found they had 1 left at a store a little further away from the one closest to me, which was out, and was able to buy it online and have it set aside for me.

Brilliant colors easy to set up no problems with the remote. This is a great TV love the options for changing the quality.

Samsung always comes through my second one was a little pricey but I always get the latest model out cause I keep them a long time great picture with lots of bells and whistles love it!

Purchased this set in order to be able to watch TV during daylight hours in a very sunny room filled with windows. The picture is outstanding and it was so easy to set up. Very satisfied,

I ordered this TV from Best Buy, not that I want to pay a little more than from Amazon or other online stores! But I was concerned about the possibility of damage and hassles of returning it during the busy season. It is worth the extra. Best Buy delivered it on time and the TV arrives safely! The TV performance and quality is superb! In fact I was going to order a new cable service, now with this TV, I don't have to. Well, I have a really good outdoor antenna, with it, I received over 180 local channels, plus the internet, this TV has already set up with lots of free tv from the web! More than I can watch! All and all, Samsung is a good brand!

bought this new samsung so i can cut the satellite cord. I like the picture and tv itself, my reason for the four stars is the stand. why can't it swivel like the 10 yo samsung it replaced? The menu is also new to me but am quickly getting use to it. Overall a very nice product.

Love this TV easy set up and pictures are great! Easy and very functional set up instructions and easy to use remote. Had great experience with Samsung tv’s and this is my 4th new one.

I waited a while to review this so I was completely in tune with the newness and controls. Over all, this is an amazing TV, with the exception of it's 240 motion engine. Compared to my 10 year old 6900 series, fast viewing is very disappointing. Why they didn't just spend another 10 bucks and make the native rate 240Hz is beyond me. You would think a unit of this quality level and price point would not rely on converting a lower native rate. Hockey, soccer, racing, and any fast moving viewing has a stutter, blurred background because the motion processor is too slow to keep up. OH, yes motion rate is turned on and correctly set. The remote and menus are extremely easy to use. Setup was a breeze.

I am very happy with my Samsung 55” LED Tv. It is the Q80 series 4K and it is bright colorful and easy to program the settings. I love Samsung products, they are reliable.

We are very happy with this purchase, the picture is fantastic and it was so easy to set up with our subscription services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+

At first, I was disappointed when I turned on the tv and everything seemed blurry and full of lag. After messing around with a few of the display settings, I began experiencing amazing crystal clear picture with seamless transitions from scene to scene. The TV has buttons on the remote to take me directly to both hulu and Netflix, and the main menu on the tv allows me to go to youtube, my PS4, chromecast, or whatever else is plugged in very easily. The screen adjusts to the lighting in the room allowing me to watch my shows with direct sunlight hitting the tv. I am very happy with the purchase of this tv.

This TV has movie theater sound and picture. Colors are so vivid. You can even talk to it and change channels and turn volume up or down. Very happy with this purchase.

I upgraded to this 55" Q80 model from a 55" KS8000 from 2016. The difference is noticeable, not that the previous TV was bad or anything. I handed it down to my parents. This thing looks gorgeous, the colors are deeper than the KS, and the sound is significantly better. I don't have a soundbar, and feel that I wouldn't even need one with this TV. The menu system is improved over the 2016 KS, and Game Mode has further enhancements that are very future proof for when the next generation consoles or games come around. Highly recommended. I would've bought the Q90 if it came in "55 in the US. This is the next best option.
