Customers are saying

Customers recognize the 55" Class QN90C Neo QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV (2023) for its exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and ease of use. Many appreciate the user-friendly remote and straightforward setup process. Amazing picture not a fan of the interface.

The picture is amazing. The down size is the smart feature. I’m just not a fan to the interface. Why do I have to make a login to use the smart features. I should just be able to click Netflix and put my username and password in. I’m tired of making usernames and passwords. But the picture is great and we still have a glare on the tv but it’s not as noticeable.

The picture is awesome. The remote control is very easy to navigate. The only problem I have is password for internet. It kept disconnects from the internet. I have to enter the password manually often. It is very frustrating.

      HawaiiBoy,

We appreciate your feedback on connectivity, and for optimal performance, we ask that you please ensure you've got the latest firmware version installed on your QN90C TV. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

If you're still having issues, you may also want to go through these steps to check your connection:

      1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).

      2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (Wi-Fi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)

      3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test

      4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.

I hope these tips help you enjoy your new product.
You can always contact us for further help at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

    Samsung 55" Neo QLED television

I purchased this 55" Samsung television to replace my similar 10-year-old 55" Samsung television that finally went on me. The picture quality is as good as my older television although there are times when the picture is not crisp. I do see some distortion at times. One con with this television is that it makes a "popping" noise when I change channels. The Geek Squad has been down to investigate the problem. They felt that it was my cable box and perhaps that the cable box should be replaced. I disagreed with them because it never happened on my older Samsung television that was connected to the same cable box.

      WhalerFan,

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung QN90C TV and for your review. The expansion and contraction of the TV's outer casing may cause a popping noise. This does not indicate a product malfunction. The TV is safe to use.

To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:

      1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
      2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
      3. Eco: Provided to save energy
      4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
      5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode.

If adjusting image settings does not improve your picture, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link for:

    Open Box TV Issue

The TV is great. Bought as Open Box-Excellent which is supposed to include everything but it arrived wrapped in bubble wrap with tape stuck all over it and no box, manuals or stand. Be wary of Open-Box items. I called the store and they provided a stand so only complaint is the tape that is extremely challenging to remove.

Good tv, not for the price

The overall perfromance is yes amazing. There are some things that could be better like subpar bloom control, and a lathargic OS. Its a good tv but, the quality of samsung tvs that arent oled has been declining. The worst part is the price. There are so many tvs that perform similarly or even better for way less. A good tv yes but too expensive for what it is
