Not impressed with interface

I have a Bose soundbar and the TV keeps "connecting" then dropping the connection. When I turn on the TV, it defaults to its own Samsung TV channel, whatever that is. Then I get the news blaring at me that I don't want. I have a few more days to consider returning, or maybe I should just get an Amazon Firestick and go with that. So far, not impressed.

Depending on if you are connecting your soundbar via Bluetooth or an HDMI connection, there are several things you can check. We recommend using a wired connection rather than using Bluetooth. For the best sound quality and performance, connect your soundbar with a Digital Audio Out (Optical) or an HDMI (ARC) cable. HDMI is better if the only external device connected to your TV is your soundbar. Otherwise, Digital Audio Out is usually the better option, depending on your setup.
Samsung TV's have Anynet+ (also known as HDMI-CEC), a feature that allows connected external HDMI devices to inform your TV when they have turned on. By default, the TV will immediately switch to this source when this happens.

Good price for a good TV

My only gripe with it is the refresh rate for Sports. I had a 50 inch Samsung TV that was the same as this one and it had an issue with power cycling after a year and a half. Hopefully this one doesn’t have the same problem.

Weak Coax Input Connector (broke off)

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would give it 5 stars but the coax input broke off, and I don't know when that happened but must have been because I moved it during cleaning and must have put some stress on the coax. I have read up on this and found out that it seems to be a pretty common issue with newer Samsung TV's and that Sumsung, when contacted, does not see the weak nature of manufacture to be an issue, but rather believes it to be a customer damage issue. Instead of going through the headache of taking it up with them, I solved the problem with a little $20 over-the-air converter box that basically translates my coax signal into HDMI, and so now I just use the box through HDMI1 when viewing over-the-air programming, not too big a deal for me. Otherwise, really happy with the TV, itself.

It’s really about Samsung who lost my business for ever!!! There customer service S——S ! Pretty bad to spend almost 3 1/2 hours on the phone to create an account! Why? Cause there people are not properly trained as to how there web site works. Best Buy was great for the purchase but will pay more next time and go with a company that knows what there doing!! I have a lot of Samsung products in my house including an all new Stainless Steel applianced kitchen. But never, ever, again!! Take your product and put it where the sun don’t shine!! See Ya!!

Thank you for sharing your review of the TU7000 TV. I am sorry that you are experiencing some delayed response when using your remote.
To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update. (ver. 1460.9 released on 12/7/20)
Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using, and the new version is the latest update.
New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.
You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience by selecting > Auto Update.

Picture not any better than 1080...

Roku Ultra, Firestick 4K or a 4K DVD player needs a 2.2 port to work in 4K. You'll still be watching a 4K UHD TV in 1080! Example...watching Hulu through Roku Ultra you constantly get an error. You can watch Hulu through TV provided app, but picture doesn't look as good and app lags! If you're okay with not watching anything in actual 4K...here you go!

Great tv but something wrong with the model

Asked for a Book to program the tv and even programming channels from antanna.You cant get anyone to just a book.

Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, tint, contrast, white balance, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
