I bought this TV after returning an LG 4k TV (UB9200). The LG TV had major panel uniformity issues and very noticeable dirty screen effect. This Samsung unit has no soap opera effect, vertical banding, dirty screen effect, etc. First thing you need to do is to run an update. Then calibrate the TV (makes a big difference). See the attached picture for the settings I'm using. The picture is amazing. Only con is angle viewing. The picture deteriorates when you look at the screen from angles. No regrets Love the TV!

The new 4K Ultra HD TVs have an excellent picture quality, much better than the previous LED LCD TVs, even viewing normal 1080P channels and movies. The new Samsung UN60JU7100FXZA 4K Ultra HD 60-inch TV is amazing with an abundant amount of smart apps, a built-in wireless receiver for automatic updates, and many extras that you don't get from models a few years ago. The sale price makes this an unbeatable opportunity compared to the other TVs of the similar size. You won't be disappointed. The only problem is Samsung's remote control that comes with the TV. The curved shape of the remote makes it hard to use laying flat, and it does not have any numbered buttons, so you have to get use to using the on-screen popup screen with the numbered buttons to skip to a different channel. This is pretty easy to get used to, and the remote has a pointer that makes it even easier. I still miss the buttons on the remote, however, there is a solution. For $99.00, you can purchase a Bluetooth wireless Samsung Smart Windows Keyboard VG-KBD2500/ZA, and will work as a large remote control. Happy viewing, and enjoy.

This TV is simply amazing. We purchased this TV to replace our 10-yr old Samsung Plasma TV. The picture quality of my new UHD TV is phenomenal. Very sleek frame. It's loaded with features that I am still exploring. The remote is not a typical one...there are no number keys, only on screen number selection. But what helps is that there is a pointer feature (button) on the remote that makes a little easier. Since my TV connection is through the cable box, I end up using the cable remote for most part. With regards to my purchase, I am extremely delighted with the experience. One week after I purchased my TV, the price went down by $200. Went back to Best Buy with proof of purchase and was credited the amount. That's always a good feeling when you get some money back.

I am enjoying my new Sony TV. The picture is beautiful. The color is so much brighter and shaper than my old Sony. I like having the Smart TV which I did not have before. It makes it much easier to watch Netflex and Amazon. I have not used all the new features yet but I plan to.

This TV has great picture quality, is easy to use, and has great features/apps to watch movies on demand. Worth the price over the 1080p any day.

I purchased this TV for my elderly in laws and we all love it! Easy set up and operation was important. I also love the fact that it's built for the future by having the external one connect box. Previously this was only available on Samsung's top of the line 9000 series UHD TV's. The picture is outstanding and the sound from the internal speakers is good.

I am more then happy with this TV. It does a great job of up-converting content from Comcast ,everything looks good, it even makes the regular def "Baby First" channel fit to watch. When you give it a true 4K signal it is unbelievable .Black is black and colors are bright and true. It is a pleasure to watch . The 3-D is also very good. "Avatar" and "Jurassic Park" were like being there. I also like the "remote" input box (HDMI and USB) , no gymnastics trying to reach behind to plug things in.

We have had the new Samsung 60" LED 2160 Smart 3D 4K Ultra HD about three weeks. The picture is amazing, everything is like a live production. Watching TV is a new experience, Movies really pop, Concerts are like being on location (except for the aroma). It is the latest technology from Samsung and worth every dollar you pay.

Bought this TV when my 2.5 year old Panasonic plasma died. Picture is good but not quite as good as the plasma. Smart TV features are very good. Remote is surprisingly good for having so few buttons. It connected to all my other equipment (Time Warner DVR and NAD AV receiver) without much fuss but only works at about 80% of my expectations. This is better than the Panasonic but certainly not perfect. Hard to say if 4K is worth it since there isn't much available. The real question is will it last longer than my Panasonic plasma? I sure hope so because I'll never buy another Panasonic anything after that experience.

I read a review that stated the 4k was useless until 4k is released, not true. So I Purchased one for my mother by her request, hook it up to her ATT Uverse...and wow the picture is beautiful!!! The tv has GREAT up scaling ability even with out the HD cable upgrade. Six months later My hd tv died..so I went and bought this 4k tv and am very happy with it. I do not have hd, only, att uverse and the picture is fantastic.

Great TV; picture is superior and the set was easy to get up and running. Only issue I had was the TV required a firmware update in order to connect to wireless router. I suggest you open the TV near the router and connect with ethernet cable to do this, early in the set up process, to avoid this annoyance. Otherwise love the set.

I was 50/50 about hanging this TV vs using the stand on our existing TV shelf/stand. For now, we have it on the stand and unfortunately while the image and screen are pretty amazing, the stand is subpar for a TV of this price. To put it simply, the TV tilts to the right, the bottom edge is not parallel to the surface of the TV shelf/stand that it sits on, which I've checked is true level. Also, the long foot in front of the TV is not parallel to the face of the TV. There's a chance the delivery guy just failed to screw the stand into the TV properly, but at a glance on the back it looks flush. I may putz with it if we decide we are definitely not going to mount it going forward. Screen image wise, I've seen some reviews about jumpiness when viewing lower resolution feeds and I did very much notice that when it was fresh out of the box, however it seems to have gone entirely away after it updated to the latest firmware. I have no complaints over the image quality or geometry to date. I haven't had the pleasure of a true 4k feed yet, but the 1080p sources have been pretty phenomenal already, and I really love the inky blacks and contrast. All in all, very happy with the TV.

A great replacement to our ten year plasma tv! Had been looking for awhile and researching what was the best for the price and quality for a 4K. So far we have been impressed with the clarity of the picture and the "smart" tv function. Still getting used to the remote aspect of the control but overall we are really very happy and pleased with our purchase.

Great picture. Excellent features. Easy to set up.

This 4K Samsung was purchased to replace a non-4K Samsung that was damaged. Instead of repairing the year old TV for $1,500, we decided to upgrade to the 4K version of the same TV. The picture is much better and we still have all the features of our previous model. Geek Squad did a great job in getting us up and running.

I had purchased this model to replace an 8500 series Plasma that died. The display in the store had a great picture that was certainly close to my plasma with vivid colors. I haven't been able to reproduce the colors at home (yet) & suspect it needs needs a custom calibration, but the color and picture is still really good.

A few minor adjustments from out of the box and you are ready for a jaw dropping visual experience. True 4K media is unbelievable. 4K up scaling is fantastic for live TV and blu ray discs and evwn standard DVD discs. Able to access 4K media thru Directv and Netflix. And also thru videos on my phone, HTC One M9. The phone has a 4K setting for filming video. Moy home internet speed is only 6 to 7 mbs. Was worried about streaming since all I read in forums was that the speed had to be 20 to 25 mbs. My streams are excellent and flawless. The smart TV apps are outstanding also. The remote is very small, very simple and very unique. And can be used by voice activation. This TV looks great even in a well lit up room. My hat is off to Samsung regarding this model. If you're looking at purchasing a 4K TV, I highly recommend this one. Can't wait for more UHD media to become available. And for football season with my new addition.

Excellent picture with 4k or HD content. Remote control is a bit on the strange side. Definitely takes some getting used to. Operates more like a Wii remote than a normal TV remote with less buttons on the remote and more selections made on-screen.

One of the best TVs ,except very limited apps on the internet part ,and every thing you need to enjoy, you have to pay for it. I hope this TV will stay at good quality ..... Thanks

I bought this TV when my 11 year old Samsung DLP stopped working. I can't believe how incredible the picture is. I love that I can watch Netflix, Youtube, and Amazon right from the TV. Very happy with my purchase.
