Finally TVs in every room

Initially I didn’t want to buy such a big tv for such a small space but if your riding the fence whether to buy for small room or choose smaller, don’t. I feel like I am at the theater and it sits perfect when viewing sitting on couches. Samsung really made a beauty here. I opted to purchase entertainment stand vs. wall mounting. And this option looks nice. May end up mounting one day. I haven’t gone thru the entire A-Z of tv yet but planning soon. I’ve added Netflix and Hulu accounts. And it was a breeze. The remote isn’t to favorable but it will do. Never seen a tv remote with no numbers. But nowadays we have Siri and google play to tell the tv what channel.

Great TV, terrible remote.
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.We are using this TV for its smart tv function with streaming only. Completely pleased. However, do not like the remote at all. It’s very tiny easy to loose! Also, it recharges by solar or by connecting to power to charge—this is a big dislike!!! The remote looses power too quick and then you are stuck with no remote and unable to use the TV.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q60A and for sharing your experience with the Solar Cell Remote. If the remote control does not work properly or its response is very slow, the battery might be low or dead. You can charge the remote control by using the solar cell or the USB port(C-type) on the bottom. You can also check the remaining battery of the Smart Remote by going to Settings > General > Power and Energy Saving > Available Remote Battery.

Beautiful Samsung TV

Best Buy Geek squad came in, delivered and set up this TV, and paired all my remotes. The solar remote is awesome!!! Never needs batteries, just leave near sunlight to charge, or plug in a USB cable. Very pleased with this purchase.

Samsung is King of Screen Technology!
Posted .I have a previous top of the line Samsung SUHD TV from few years ago and it has been a great TV, so I decided to go back to Samsung. First Impression – The box of this TV is not brown box, which is okay with me because that is money well saved by company. After unboxing, the TV is very good looking with very thin bezel on each side. The bezel is made of plastic, but it does not look cheap. The remote is a nice feature which can be charged by Sun or via USB. The stands are easy to assemble and TV was up and running in few minutes. Hardware – The color on this TV just “pop”. I was positively blown away by how better the colors and image look compare to just my 3-year-old Samsung TV, which is a great TV itself. I think this alone may be worth it to consider Samsung for your next TV. Voice on this TV is loud and clear enough as well. Features – I LOVE the built in Smart TV. Not having additional cords, devices dangling is a great positive for me. It operates relatively well even though some Apps are slow to open (may be App issue). The built in remote includes voice assistant and it allow you to select which one you want to use Bixby, Alexa or Google. It operates relatively well, and it feels very familiar to how I use voice assistant on my phone, google home etc. One of the most under appreciated feature of this TV is Samsung TV+, it is free internet channels that comes with this and other Samsung TVs. As a cord-cutter, there is always something interesting (i.e. Wipeout) on those channels which saves me from spending money on cable. Overall a great addition in our living room and a family favorite!

My Sharp TV was better.
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Not all that pleased with this TV. I knew I should not have bought a Samsung. First, the navigation on this TV is complicated for no reason. When I just want to watch regular TV, I have to go through a maze on the remote options to get to my regular programming. It plays Asian movies that are not in English, yet I'm just trying to watch Impractical Jokers on cable. The quality of picture is grainy as well, at least for me. Not sure what the reason is but my Sharp was much clearer than this.

Thank you for choosing Samsung’s Q60A TV and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the remote included with your TV. To assist you in the learning the various features, functions, and settings of the remote, you can download the Solar Cell Remote Guide directly from Samsung’s website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the Q60A under QLED 4K TVs > A Model Lineup. Additionally, you can find other guides and manuals to further assist you with your TV’s features.
If the picture you are seeing out-of-the-box is not to your liking, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
You can select the Picture Mode that provides the best viewing experience. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine tune your image.
