Great TV, decent value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did a lot of research aand narrowed it down to a Samsung Qled and an LG OLED. Saved a few $$$ on the Samsung and was not disappointed. Blacks are beautiful, and refresh rate is great. Looks awesome for gaming on XBox One X. Remote is basic, but works nicely.

EXCELLENT PICTURE
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent picture. Love this TV. Only thing is if you are on a limited amount of internet, turn off the Smart Hub, and connect internet only when you need to. It's easy to do this. Bought because I was sick of seeing blurring pictures from the lower priced TV's over the years. The re-fresh rate is excellent

New Q80T
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the 65 inch Q80T. Love the picture! It replaced a 10 yr. old 55 inch so it is quite a leap in picture quality. Setup was simple. Love the guide for over the air stations! Very easy to setup and use w/ Netflix, Hulu, Disney.....My son and daughter-in-law saw it and now want to get one just like it.

Happy with Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Picture, Easy to set up with two people. The stand is nice in that it has a way to hide the cords and there is a built in channels on the back of the tv to keep the cords in place. Smart when I turn on the amazon fire or the playstation the tv will power on as well as change to the correct input.

Q80T
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a 65" Q80T. I researched this TV and many others. I like Samsung's Tizen interface. The picture quality on this TV is excellent. I also like the Samsung TV Plus that comes with it. The TV was easy to set up and is easy to use. It comes with a nice small remote that is also easy to use.

Great picture
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung is a really really well-designed TV. I contemplated between the Q90T and this Q80T. And I know $1000 difference between the two had nothing to do with it. :-) But I’m going to several TV stores I’m glad I looked at the local cable HD cable versus the 4K Streaming. Side-by-side with the Q60 70, 80 and 90T they went from a Dirty duller picture with a 90 been extremely bright. The 90 with local TV seem to be a little to bright, faces washed out. With a little difference in the Q80T and the gorgeous picture it has in 4K, The bright and vivid colors and it does have deep black. This TV was for me based on my room, the more light ( Windows) you have in the room this has better filters on the screen To avoid reflections picked up on the screen. Where the competitors like the QLED ( not picking on them) have a shiny screen and will exhibit light reflection on the screen. This made was a choice for me. It also helped that it was on sale and one of the best prices I’ve had in quite a while. Like any new products the more you use it the more you figure out how it works. Very happy purchase.

Amazingly smart Tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had him bought a TV for about six years and we’re in the market for an upgrade. Since TVs are so cheap now we didn’t even think about dropping 1500 on the TV. But once we went into the Best Buy store and saw the Q LED TVs, it definitely became apparent it was worth the money. We have a TV in a relatively bright room so it’s really hard to watch dark movies unless all the blinds are closed, which is a huge pet peeve of mine because I need as much daylight as I can. Plus the upgrade of the smart TV functionality is huge. It’s so seamless to use and the Internet never lags. It has built-in Apple TV etc. which is great because our old Apple TV 4K device was starting to really suck. There are still a bunch of new functions that I’m learning: For example, you can screen share your phone onto your TV I also have it as a multi screen. This is helpful for when I’m playing video games and need to look up a video to help me. This is also helpful for when you want to show a video to other people without passing your phone around.

Can’t go wrong with a Samsung TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I debated between this tv and the 70T. I think it was worth paying a little more for the 80T for better picture quality and resolution. It’s user friendly and an easy setup. All the streaming apps I use (Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney+ and Amazon Prime) don’t have issues. A happy customer here!

Nice TV love it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV because it supposed to perform well in bright rooms. During daylight hours the picture quality is outright POOR. The screen also has excessive glare during bright light. Once the sun goes down and the room brightness lowers this TV really shows excellent picture quality.

Samsung 65" Q80t is amazeballs
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this TV. Great picture, the HDR and Ray tracing in 4k is stunning. This 'Samsung TV Plus' option is pretty cool too. It's really a great TV. Glad I bought it when I did. Easy to wirelessly connect a phone up to it to stream on the television and the built in apps are seamless.

Great all around tv and picture quality is there
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for excellent picture quality and needed something without a lot of glare for where I have the TV placed near large windows. This was such a great option. Highly recommended. And I will always buy Samsung. The streaming that comes with the TV is really great.

Beautiful TV!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV! Easy to set-up, beautiful picture quality, and just as crisp viewing at an angle. Less glare on screen than most TV's if your room is brightly lit. Only criticism would be I wish the power cord was longer for more versatility to plug it into an outlet. Overall it is excellent!

Very Impressed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is great! I mostly stream my content on this tv (including through Xfinity) and even that looks great. I have yet to see how it performs being directly connected to an HDR device like a DVD player but based on my experience this far, I don't think I'll be disappointed. The best thing is that this TV upscale great since the majority of content isn't native. Although this is HDR10+ and not Dolby Vision, I was still pleased with the picture of movies in Dolby. You may notice a difference with a side by side comparison but the picture I feel like it would only be slight. I watched Wonder Woman (which is Dolby Vision) and was impressed. The sound from the tv is good too. I might consider getting a sound bar but I'm pleased with the tv speakers too. Plus I don't have this in a very large room. Haven't watched a ton of sports on it yet. But when watching ESPN playback it was good. Verdict is still out as to the motion handling when watching a full game.

Worth every penny.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from our 2014 Samsung 60" TV to the 65" Q80T. After about a month of daily use I can say we are very pleased with the TV. After some tinkering with the settings and becoming familiar with the TV's functions and features it just sits there and performs without fuss or ghosts in the machine. Can't speak to the sound quality of the speakers as it has been connected to a soundbar from day 1. Picture quality is very good. Sometimes too good if your source isn't up the abilities of the TV you'll know it. This is our 4th Samsung TV since about 2004 and they have all been reliable, stable performers with a great picture. After reading many reviews and watching YT video reviews on this TV what I have determined is that you're a hard core videophile take a pass. But if your goal is to have a TV with a darn nice picture once you get it home and set up for not a lot of money look seriously at this TV. For us its "shortcomings" are a non-issue in the real world.

Great Pick For Gamers, But Not For Movie-Watchers.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is definitely an excellent TV for those with a budget. This is considered a mid-high range QLED TV, and it performed very well for most uses. The style is very solid, but the stand’s design can cause for a decent amount of wobble. As far as picture quality goes, it definitely performs up to par given the price. One issue that always really bothered me with this TV though is Color Banding. The Color Banding is really strong when playing Video Games or watching Movies where there is a lot of light present. There are some settings that can be tweaked to suppress this, but as always, there will be a pretty big loss in fine detail. The actual color accuracy though is on point. There is something special about the “Quantum Dot” layer on QLED TVs. My main other complaint it the Stutter. While TV reviewers consistently say that this TV performs decently as far as Stutter goes, it is definitely much worse that what it is credited for. But for gamers, this is definitely a solid pick. The Black Uniformity is excellent considering the LED technology. The Gray Uniformity though, that is where there are some issues. Not anything too bad, but there is definitely Dirty Screen Effect which is most noticeable in brighter scenes, similar to the Color Banding. But this varies from panel to panel. As with most VA panels, the corners and edges always seem darker than the middle of the screen, but personally, this wasn’t an issue to me at all. This TV’s Input Lag and Variable Refresh Rate capabilities definitely make this a great pick for Gamers, but for Movie-Watchers, I would consider either an LG or a Sony.

An upgrade for us
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV and was a big upgrade from our previous smaller and older models. Easy to navigate once you learn the system. Colors are rich and true. It does take a time investment to go through all the settings and get things looking their best.
