Fantastic tv and AMAZING price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate writing incomplete reviews but this TV is an exception. It's tricky because I purchased this TV without seeing the actual unit on at Best Buy, it had no reviews, and the photos online were someone limited. It's a "holiday model" so it is essentially a TV that Samsung and Best Buy developed for Black Friday (hence, nothing previously mentioned). Here's my best advice to "test" out this TV in store despite not actually being on display: This is a 6-series Samsung. There will be other 6-series sets on display. This display is the same casing and build as those, same picture quality, interface, etc. What makes it different? Per the Samsung rep it basically comes down to less inputs on the back of the TV. That's it. So, if you are looking for an excellent TV and Black Friday prices, this exceeds any of the other junk brand TV's other retailers are spinning out this time of year. If you need more than 2 HDMI inputs or care about every little HDTV advance being packed into your TV - keep looking. I am tech savvy and like cutting edge technology - this TV shows that 4k HDTV sets have matured to the point where you can buy a nearly top of the line set for dirt cheap. Spec review: the interface and build quality is great. Streaming apps are easily accessible, color and brightness are great out of the box. Sound quality is better than expected but these are still tiny speakers (as all are in these displays). I'll update this review as we get more real-life use out of it as well. Do what I did - buy this TV. Need more HDMI inputs? Consider an HDMI switch. This TV is a steal and Best Buy has an excellent return policy if it just doesn't work in your space.

Tv broke just after a year- no honor in Best Buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is not great. Should have known for the price but expected better. The apps on the tv went out 12.5 months after purchase so we no longer have netflix, Hulu ect available on this one TV. Of course they won’t honor the issue as I did not purchase the warranty package. Guess it is my fault. Who knew never moving a TV once it was set in place would break a TV. Who knew a huge company would not honor any repairs because it is JUST past the date. Sad

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is slow at times, and doesn’t always connect to my wifi. I would not recommend samsung to anyone. I would much rather go with LG/Vizo.

Decent tv for the $$
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Samsung tv does not allow for bluetooth headphone connection and the picture can become blurry when streaming sports. It requires the tv to be unplugged for 10 seconds which solves the issue. Unknown why this happens butbit does. Otherwise, itxs a great tv for the $. It has an excellent picture quality and the screen is perfect size for up close viewing.

Do not buy
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was amazed at first but then not worth it. Something this tv has is that screen mirroring doesnt work is defective and then has a lag on the setting/menu. Just as time went by you wont like it. Not many app you can download unless they need a subscription. also most apps crash like disney+, staz. Did not enjoy tv because of work.

Get what you pay for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brought this tv on one of the pre Black Friday's deal and from day one the tv wouldn't come on using remote or the power button on tv. I had to unplug the tv and plug it back in every time I wanted to watch tv. After two weeks of doing that, I returned the tv and brought a LG 70in and I couldn't be happier.

Horrible lag
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this in between black Friday and Cyber Monday thinking I scored a deal only to set the TV up and experience horrible lag not only during a Patriots vs Texan football game, but also during a normal TV program like HGTV Fixer Upper. If Samsung can't fix Monday, I'm returning this TV pronto.
