The local dimming could be a little better but is good enough to still be great. 120 hz is incredibly smooth. 5/5 would recommend. Even the sound on the tv js great although i dont use it becuase i have surround sound, it is definatly viable sound if you dont have a sound system.

Hooked up to Stereo and like being in a movie theater or front row of concert. The Samsung easy connect panel is so handy to plug in stereo devices. It was open box 2021 model and got it for 1700.

Even though there isnt that much 8k content out there this Q800a brings out the best out of normal 4k and 1080p content. Brighter colors sharper images than any other Samsung 4k TVs.

It’s high quality and I would buy a tv anywhere else. The service is the best. The only complaint I have is during the day there is a bit of a rainbow hue on the screen.

Colors and white are bright and radiant, The Samsung TV channels give you very good quality with some streaming at 4k.

Great Picture, Unreliable Hardware

The first TV had a misfiring subwoofer, the second TV has a faulty unit that Samsung are currently replacing under warranty. I am sure that when it works, it will be fine. On balance, this will probably be my last Samsung TV. I have given this three stars because both BestBuy and Samsung have been very prompt with replacing parts.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung QN800A TV and for your review. Watching TV for an extended period of time causes the panel to generate heat. The heat from the panel is dissipated through internal vents running along the top of the TV. The bottom, however, may feel hot to the touch after extended use. This heat, however, is not a defect and does not affect the TV's functionality.

It was well worth it and have it hanging over my fireplace. The colors are vivid and does well in a room with lots of natural light.
