I had to return this tv. 1. it is bright. i thought bright was good, and i needed to get the brightest. i was wrong. i have a dark room, and this tv was way too bright for it. i think i have retinol burn. (kidding, but very bright) also, when i streamed a 4k or 8k video over the net - the pitcher was flawless. however, 90% of my viewing is via comcast and tivo. its not a gret signal, and no matter what adjustments samsung help and myself tried, the processor just could not convert the signal to an acceptable picture. I returned it for the latest Sony and had much more luck with the signal processing.

When you turn TV on remote does not respond immediately.
Tried every solution available online without any luck. Looked terrific at the store but not same at home. Too expensive to get an average TV

From the out of box experience, first set up, or the brilliant picture, I could not be happier. Samsung has reall done their homework on this one. The ability to attach the stand without laying the TV flat was amazing. The 4 step set electronic setup was also great. I absolutely love it.

TV is a pretty impressive electronic mate steer piece for sure! It’s very well made. Definitely needs a sound bar. Picture is almost OLED like depending on the content. Ie regular tv and lower level inputs are just ok. 1080P and 4K are almost like watching other OLED panels I already own. I paid $3500.00 and I feel the TV is worth that. It’s close call because Samsung also has its own OLED OUT NOW. I’m coming from a 65” Sony Oled. I definitely like the larger 75” screen. Infinity screen is also pretty to look at.

I'm bummed, somewhat angry, and quite disappointed. I really got excited about this TV, I wanted to love it.
I traded a Sony A90j OLED 77" for this. My thought was, "this TV is amazing, but if I'm going to spend this kind of money on a TV, I want phenomenal"
Brightness wasn't a consideration in this case, instead I was drawn to the dedicated game mode, 8k and the new display tech "neo-qled"
Ugh, how lame..
This TV is all gimmick, mediocre substance.
Here are some points.
The game mode is little more than a floating menu you can hardly configure. It simply displays settings being applied, with an aggravating UI that makes you feel like you can interact with it. But you really can't. Fine, poor UI, who cares?
Game mode crashes consistently. Let me just ask, before someone says something like, "have you tried changing the game/console settings?" if you believe that a feature is something that makes you do more work, and costs (literally) an additional 10x, then you and I have a different definition of "feature".. These are bugs. Bugs being sold as features, expensive ones.
Turning game mode off, nothing crashes, all works normally (except the financial math)
Neo qled. Please, don't insult me.
While the technology is real, the implementation in this TV is basically the following. Lots of extra lights, which magnify (instead of solving) long standing inherent led issues.
Be prepared to see color bleed on bright scenes. Try watching sports with the brightness turned up. Color bleed to the max. Uniforms melt into the grass. Marketing digital signs will make you go blind! If you like subtitles, hopefully you love candles, because letters on a black background emit a constant glow around them.
All of this while having the same age old motion blur problems, with sporadic chunks of delayed blooming.
The local dimming? Frankly, is pathetic. I mean this thing isn't even average, it's worse than average, at a very high premium.
Finally, let me mention the remote.
It's hard to believe. It makes an attempt to replicate a roku-like simplicity, with some fashionable solar charging panel.
I think this type of charging should be used on every device it can sustain, but if you're going to make this the only source of power, please charge it first.. I literally had to wait for the remote to charge under a lamp before I could use my $7000 tv. This is a bug, not a feature.
Forget the gimmick.
This remote lacks basic functionality.
Setting are hard to get to, requiring many clicks to access. Often times controls are unclear on certain apps, and you're required to remember specific functions on long holds, etc.
The Sony Remote was amazing! I miss it
This remote has 3 buttons for quick apps (Netflix, prime and Samsung plus), but it doesn't bother to offer you a manual input switch button.
There is no button to fast forward or rewind.
There is no button to directly access settings, you (hilariously) have to browse to there.
8k works fine, but this is really just theory right now.
In short, this TV never even begins to approach value. It's subpar, indulgently over-priced, and in some cases, worse than alternatives worth a tenth of the cost.
I love Samsung products but this is a giant blow to my confidence in their bleeding edge tech department.

Hi latestTechSeeker,
Thank you for your detailed review of Samsung’s 2021 75” QN900A Neo QLED 8K Smart TV. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated and will be shared with our internal teams. To optimize your TV's picture quality, please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1515.4 which includes picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
If you are uncomfortable with the TV's default brightness settings, you can customize the brightness level between 0 – 50 to your preference. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Brightness.
For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings
- Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.
You can also try different Picture Modes to see which best fits your needs. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode for the below choices: 1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
Intelligent Mode also enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Home > Settings > General > Intelligent Mode Settings. Adaptive Picture, which is among the options, optimizes brightness and provides the best picture quality in real time, based on the lighting condition and the content you're viewing.
You may also want to optimize the smart TV performance and address your issue with TV & remote response time with the self-diagnostic tool. This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care.
Please know the circular directional pad on your remote will allow you to fast forward, rewind, or key up/down on your screen. The Home button will launch the SmartHub where you can directly access your TV's Settings menu. To best assist you in learning the various functions and settings of your new Solar Cell remote, you can download the Solar Cell Remote Guide directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “TVs”. From there, you can select the QN900A under "A Model Lineup" > "Samsung Neo QLED 8K". Additionally, you can find other guides and manuals to further assist you with your TV’s features.
I hope these tips help resolve your concerns. Should you have further questions or need troubleshooting assistance, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST M-F (9AM – 6PM EST Sat). Or text HELP to 62913.

This TV is spectacular. My 75 in exceeded my expectation and the gaming features is top notch. Highly recommend it. No burn in problems. Con would be that it doesn’t have Dolby vision but having the HDR10+ and playing Xbox/PS5 games on it is more than enough. VRR ready for Xbox out the box. PS5 pending. Free sync Pro and all ports are HDMI 2.1. Game mode features plus. Movies are strictly awesome. Great against daylight. Highly recommend it!

Love it! Excellent picture quality - very vivid and crisp. I'm using a sound bar for audio so I won't comment on how the sound is with the TV speakers. And, I'm using a Roku for streaming apps because I don't really like how the TV apps play. But, the picture - that's just great!

AWESOME!!!
Absolutely the clearest and cleanest on the market. Great for room with lots of sun as it doesn’t show reflections as much as others.
The ONE box allows all external devices and power to be remotely plugged into external box and just one small wire going to the tv.

It’s a love hate scanerio with this tv I’m still undecided but when I first got it at 65 inch I was in love. Fast processor fast everything. The led burned out in 2-3 month so I had to get a refund and buy 75. If you got the patience always try before you decide to keep
