I never knew what a tv was … if there was a lavender field on the screen I swear I can almost smell the lavender . And every day that I watch something on it I love it as much as I did the 1st day I had it installed… it is just AMAZINGly so AWESOME

I bought a Samsung 75" Neo QLED (high-end model) for about $5,000 and after only 1.5 years it stopped showing a picture. The set powers on, the backlight glows faintly and sound works, but the screen stays black — essentially unusable. For a premium TV this early failure is unacceptable. I expect either a prompt goodwill resolution from Samsung or help from the retailer (repair, replacement credit, or reasonable buy-out). If you’re considering an expensive TV, don’t skimp on a long protection plan — I regret not having one.

I purchased this television from my local Best Buy store. It was loaded into my truck by an employee of Best Buy, properly secured and taken to my home, less than 10 minutes away. I unboxed the unit and followed the setup instructions to the letter for preparing the television for use. As soon as I turned it on, the screen flashed and turned off. It then began cycling a flashing screen. The controls were unresponsive.
I unplugged the unit and boxed it back up to return to the store. Upon arrival at the store, the customer service rep at the Woodmore Town center Best Buy refused to refund my money for the defective item. There was no indication of damage to any part of the unit. The screen, frame, bezel, box, and all components were without blemish. The unit simply did not work.
Instead of refunding my money, Best Buy would rather attempt to blame me (the customer) for a faulty product they sold. I have been a long time Best Buy customer and have purchased several TVs from Best Buy, including a 65" Samsung that was purchased on the same order as this defective unit. The 65" TV is working fine. It was setup in the same way. Handled with the same care by me. Because I purchased this television for an event and needed a replacement immediately, I ended up purchasing a replacement of the same make and model from a different Best Buy location and that unit is working fine. Indicating that the first television I purchased was defective, or otherwise damaged prior to my possession of the TV.
I will not be buying another Samsung television ever, as this has soured my experience! Neither will I be buying anything else from Best Buy as they do not support the customer and do not stand by the integrity of the products they sell. This item is far too expensive to have to endure challenges upon initial use and face further challenges when trying to return the defective item.
Samsung and Best Buy lose a customer over this incident that should have been handled better by Best Buy.

3.5 hours out of the box after the Geek Squad set up this model, I realized the TV best buy delivered was defective. The picture froze up while the sound repeated itself over and over, then white lines flashed over the screen then the TV blacked out, shut itself off ending with a loud crackle popping sound. Shortly thereafter, the TV turned itself back on. The 1 star is not only for the delivery of a defective TV, but also for the horrible “so-called” customer service as my call was disconnected 4 times. I spent over an hour and a half trying to resolve this issue. I was told the Sony XRZ 9K is a better product. I’m not so sure about Samsung anymore as I discovered online a class action lawsuit against Samsung for their faulty product they now produce.

Will NOT stay connected to WiFi

This is the 5th Samsung Wifi enabled TV I have purchased. It simply will not stay connected to the internet. I am now known by name with the Samsung Tech support group — not my goal. About every 48-72 it just drops the WiFi. I have to undertake a number of steps — which sometime just don’t work — to get it back. I am about ready to call it on this one…. :(
