Amazing picture! My husband and I use this tv primarily for gaming, and I feel it really shines in this area. The Black is really dark and the colors are full of contrast and saturation without bleeding into each other. The picture is crisp but we did change the settings for our own needs. Standard settings are okay, but for a more underside experience I recommend looking through forums to get the picture settings for your preferred experience. The remote took a little getting used to as it is incredibly slender, but i actually love the minimalistic approach. All in all- we are very happy with this purchase and it didn't hurt that we got it during a sale. We haven't really used the sound from the tv as much because our polk system links with it. But what we did hear straight from the tv seemed fine.

I have a 4 year old 65" OLED and a 3 year old 77" OLED. Both got really bad image burn-in so I decided to get away from OLED and gave this a chance. I love this tv! It's a great replacement for OLED. I paid too much money for the OLED sets to get image burn-in so I decided to go a different route this time and I'm so happy I did. Great picture and don't have to worry about burn-in with this technology. One other thing; I loved the inky blacks on OLED but did not like the overall darkness of other colors, even on it's brightest settings. I like a brighter image and this one get really good blacks and really bright highlight areas. 5 stars

All TV content are up scaled near native 4K quality ( Friends etc) Blacks are very black. Sports are also awesome …football, hockey! Unfortunately you can get very addicted to this TV…even YouTube videos are awesome because many camera now are 4K. I am now watching Lawrence of Arabia…prepare to be amazed!

The first and foremost thing you should know about this TV is that the picture quality is absolutely stunning. In addition to vibrant colors, deep blacks, and remarkable clarity, this display creates an immersive viewing experience that you are sure to enjoy. There is no doubt that the visuals are incredibly sharp and lifelike, regardless if I am watching a movie, TV show, or playing a video game. There is truly no other TV that can rival the high-resolution display and advanced technologies employed by this TV in terms of elevating the content to a whole new level.

    The Epitome of Home Entertainment

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Samsung 85” Class QN90B Neo QLED 4K Smart Tizen TV, and I must say, it has completely redefined my home entertainment experience. This TV is nothing short of spectacular, and I'm thrilled to share my thoughts in this glowing review. Picture Quality (5/5): The standout feature of the Samsung QN90B Neo QLED is undoubtedly its picture quality. The 4K resolution combined with Neo QLED technology creates stunningly sharp and vibrant visuals. The colors are breathtakingly accurate, and the contrast is exceptional. Whether you're watching a blockbuster movie or playing the latest video games, this TV delivers an immersive and lifelike experience that's second to none. Size Matters (5/5): At 85 inches, this TV is a true marvel. The sheer size of the screen makes every movie night feel like a trip to the cinema. It's perfect for sports enthusiasts, as you'll feel like you're right in the stadium. The large display ensures that everyone in the room has a great view, making it the ideal centerpiece for family gatherings and parties. Smart Features (5/5): Samsung's Tizen operating system continues to impress with its intuitive interface and an abundance of streaming apps. The TV is responsive, and navigating through menus is a breeze. Voice control with Bixby or compatibility with other voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant adds a level of convenience that's hard to live without once you've experienced it. Gaming Excellence (5/5): Gamers will be thrilled by the QN90B's gaming performance. With low input lag, quick response times, and support for variable refresh rates (VRR), this TV ensures a smooth and responsive gaming experience. Whether you're into fast-paced shooters or immersive RPGs, this TV won't disappoint. Design (5/5): Samsung's attention to detail is evident in the sleek and stylish design of the QN90B. The ultra-slim bezels and minimalist stand make it look like a piece of modern art. It's not just a TV; it's a statement piece that enhances the aesthetics of any room. Sound Quality (4/5): While the TV's audio is good, it doesn't quite match up to the exceptional visuals. The sound is clear and immersive, thanks to Object Tracking Sound+ technology, but audiophiles might want to invest in a soundbar for a truly cinematic experience. Conclusion (5/5): In summary, the Samsung 85” Class QN90B Neo QLED 4K Smart Tizen TV is a true masterpiece of home entertainment technology. It combines stunning picture quality, a massive screen, smart features, and gaming prowess into one incredible package. While the audio could be slightly improved, it's a minor quibble when you consider the overall excellence of this TV. If you're looking for the ultimate home theater experience, the QN90B should be at the top of your list. It's an investment in entertainment that you won't regret.

I upgraded to this from the Q800T 65 in. 8K TV and have no regrets. The TV looks great mounted on the wall. the picture is incredibly crisp and responds fast. there are no noticable light blurs on a dark screen, so the darks look amazing. The brightness is outstanding. The sound is good, but could still be better, but that's coming from someone who went from 7.1 to just a soundbar. the TV is better outside of game mode on the series X. I can't wait for CFB to start so I can see what the TV can do.

I bought the 85" QN90B to replace a 4 year old Sony that had the power board die (repeatedly). I used to love Sony's but after the power board issue on two different models, decided it was time for a change. I looked at LG OLED models and the Samsung Neo QLED while shopping for a new unit. I have a smaller LG C1 OLED which has been a wonderful TV but it reflects a lot of light in a moderately well lit room. The new TV was going into a room with a lot of outside light, so the Neo QLED had the advantage there. The Samsung picture was amazing in the showroom, so we bought the QN90B and had Best buy deliver it. No issues with the delivery other than they asked us to keep the box for 2 weeks in case of problems. Ever try finding a place to store an 85" TV Box? Not easy. Performance wise, the TV is everything we expected. Bright picture and solid sound. We have very few issues with reflections in the bright room. at night, we actually had to turn the brightness down a bit as it was way too bright for a dark room. The sharpness of the picture was excellent and so far the set has exceeded our expectations. We use it for watching DirecTV, streaming from our Apple TV, and using our PS5. All work wonderfully with the QN90B. The PS5 picture has never been better. Sound from the TV is good. Nothing spectacular though. I have the EARC attached to a Sonos Arc soundbar so I don't need to use the built in sound. I decided to dock them a star for just a few reasons. The first is the remote. Samsung went for a minimalistic remote. It's too minimalistic. It needs a number pad to be really useful. More than that, it NEEDS an Input button. Switching inputs is ridiculously complicated. It should be a single button on the remote like every other TV out there. Secondly, There really needs to be a way to turn off all the Samsung TV ads, options, channels, etc. Some people may use it, but I don't and there should be a way to shut it off. It's downright confusing to have to change inputs and see all those options, shows, etc. that I don't need to see. I have elderly relatives living with us and I can't figure out the interface to save their lives. They always end up down some branch of Samsung TV that they don't want. I just would like an simple interface with inputs listed not something you need an IT degree to operate. I know my situation is not common and others may love Samsung TV. But there has to be an easier option for those of us who use the TV mostly as a monitor. I have an Apple TV box, so I'm never going to use most of the 'smart' functions of the TV. I wish there was a way to turn them off.

I've only had it a few days, but so far so good. It's in a brightly lit room, so I knew I needed something with the capability to get very bright. It pretty much does a good job although it does need to be turned up to the highest brightness setting. This replaces a 85" Hisense that was way cheaper but also turned into a 100+ pound paperweight after only 2.5 years (luckily had the 5 year warranty). BB doesn't currently have a Hisense that compares to it, so I went with Samsung. Hopefully will last a lot longer. The picture isn't as bright as the Hisense, but black levels are much better. The anti-glare screen is not as anti-glare as the Hisense, but much better than another Samsung that I have in a high light situation. My other Samsung uses the lower level of LED and just doesn't get bright enough to overcome the light and I was a little leary of another Samsung behaving the same way. But, this one is much, much better. Sound is pretty decent, but for movies, you will want a better sound system. The calibration was way off when I first turned it on, but my Samsung phone calibrated it very easily. Still, I needed to fiddle with the settings to get the picture quality I like. Not happy I had to spend this much for something that looks good in a high light area, but there just didn't seem to be other good options in this size. I'm not fond of the interface the Samsung uses, but I use a Roku and will primarily rely on it now that I have gotten the picture adjusted.

I really like this TV, but....I didn't give it 5 stars because of the remote, which is so basic it is a pain, because of Samsung TV which tries to force you to use it, and not other apps, I still haven't been able to set up the voice search, although to be honest haven't given it a very hard try. I would have expected it to be more intuitive. So, overall a fantastic picture, and I coupled it with a the integrated sound bar (the cheapest one) and it sounds great. Downside for me is the basic remote control and the Samsung interface to some extent.

This was a 2022 model. Bought this on sale to replace a 65" 9 yr old Samsung LED TV. Before purchase I read numerous reviews including those for the 2023 models. Other than the sound option which the QN95 was supposed to be better, the picture quality is just top notch for the price paid. I loved the antiglare featue and the brightness of the TV. I would have paid double the sale price for the 2023 model with only incremental improvements. TotalTech came out and performed the installation. Hooked up the TV with an existing AV unit. The first panel developed a flaw(color lines) immediately after the panel was hung to the wall. Ordered a new replacement unit and was installed 5 days later. The replacement performed falwlessly. I am going to enjoy this unit for a long time.

We have been a Samsung TV family since flat screens started coming out. They all have exceptionally beautiful pictures. This one is no different. It is about 1” thick, and surrounded by the thinnest of frames to maximize picture size. Aside from the beauty, the features are superb—voice control remote, pre-installed apps for most services and the ability to get more. Easy hookups are the norm with Samsung. All that is really needed is the included extra-long power cable. The TV allows for wired or wireless internet connectivity. Our TV room is quite open with large bay windows over looking a lake—lots of sunlight. We never have ANY problem with screen brightness or glare. It just works. I continue to be a huge fan of Samsung TVs and monitors.

Look, the Samsung 85 inch Q90 TV is a beast. This thing is massive, and it brings serious quality to the table. You're getting killer visuals with the 4K resolution, Fast-paced games or high-speed movie scenes? No problem. The 120Hz refresh rate keeps things smoother than a fresh jar of Skippy. Smart features? It's got 'em. The Tizen OS is easy to navigate and pretty handy, especially if you're into voice commands. Design-wise, it's sleek and clean, fitting right into your pad. Bottom line - it's a solid pick for a large-screen TV that performs well and looks good doing it.

Generally, I have been pleased with my TV purchase. In the brief period I have owned it, unfortunately, we have been viewing mostly non-4K content. So far I have been unable to satisfactorily sync video with its audio source by using the digital delay adjustment. My son-in-law has given up in adjusting his. A friend was ready to purchase a Samsung 85" TV but held back because he could not live with this misalignment. Also, when panning across a scene, I experienced a large amount of jutter, even though the TV features a 120Hz refresh rate. I was hoping for more. Sound QUALITY is fine, just can't align with the video on the screen no matter what range is used on the adjustment.

      1DisappointedCustomer,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Samsung's QN90B TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image and sound quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings

If you’re hearing an audio delay across all sources/channels and you have a receiver, soundbar, or other speakers connected to your TV, you can access the Audio Delay settings to increase the audio delay. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay

Our 2022 TVs have an audio Pass-Through feature, which allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external device then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay.

On your TV, go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through

If you’ve tried these steps and your issue persists, please contact us for troubleshooting and a Support agent will gladly assist. You can reach us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

I had done quite a bit of research before I bought a new TV and noted Samsung's improvement through the years to become one of the top brands today. I bought the QN90B because of its glare resistant screen, it's brightness and it's improved processing. I'm very happy with this TV and it exceeded my expectations. Also it has great sound. Although I use a Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 soundbar system, I noticed that the internal sound system on this sounds great. Many large screen TVs have anemic sound but this is not the case here.
