Great price, just what I needed to expand storage. Quick format in windows 11 took less than 5 minutes. Read / write speeds are good.

I bought this drive to replace one of two spinning hard drives in my main desktop computer. The drive had Windows 10 installed on it and my other drive had various flavors of gnu/linux on it. The replacement was easy though I had to get an adapter due to the smaller size of the SSD. I used the utility at Samsung website to clone the drive so Windows 10 was on it. After removing the old hard drive, I repartitoned the drive and put a couple of linux distrobutions on it. The SSD boots up very fast and works great booting to either Windows 10 or linux.
