Very reliable hard drive. My go to for small builds.

Give lots of extra space download and transfer speed really quick highly recommend

This drive really brought a three year old used laptop I was setting up for a friend with an abysmally slow 1TB hard disk to life. Previously it took over a minute to enable the start button after login to launch apps and very long to open most apps and after it. Clocked a win10 feature update at over 5 hours. No the drive did not fail any SMART tests, it was just a crappy slow OEM drive. Afterward, it took under a second to where I could use the computer and had near instant app loading.

Seems to work great--one of my first SSDs, so I don't have much of a baseline to compare performance, but PC powers up super quick and runs great, even without quick boot, and no problems several months in.

Fast and reliable SSD - made a big difference in my old laptop! Samsung Magician software also very good.

Just bought this to upgrade my aunts laptop. Replaced an old hdd and works great! Took the start up time from 6:30 to under 15 seconds. Samsung has a great software to come drives and their drives are always stable

Works great, easy to use and to clone to. I highly recommend this for anyone who hasn’t already started to use an SSD. It really changed my computer speed and also a lot of problems I had while gaming.

I purchased this SSD after reading many reviews and finding the rati ngs OUTSTANDING. I am using a 10 year old Dell Inspiron with and Intel i7 and 8Gb ram. The hard drive was slowing down and was not large enough for todays programs.(320Gb). It took less than 30 minutes to install and clone the new Samsung SSD!! PERFECT all the way. Startup is less than 10 seconds as compared to maybe 90 seconds, PROGRAMS fly and load so much quicker. Overall the Laptop runs quiet, cooler and battery lasts longer. THIS IS THE BEST DECISION I HAVE MADE REGARDING UPGRADES TO A PC.

The Samsung - 870 EVO 500GB SATA 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive is very fast and reliable. Works very well in my laptop and I would purchase this again if I ever need another replacement SSD.

Reliable performing SSD has been one of my go to drives over the years. Been using these since 2014 my first SSD buy was the Samsung 840 and this Model faster better. Still carries a 5 year warranty.

So far so good. Easy migration from my old SSD to this one twice the size using third party Macrium Reflect software. Windows boots so fast with this drive.
