This is the best mid range ssd to replace an HDD with. The problem is other vendors are $20 lower for the same quality and warranty now.

I fix computers for a living. Whenever I need to replace a customer's hard drive to speed up their computer, the best option is an SSD and the best brand is Samsung by a mile. The most important thing to me is reliability, and Samsung always comes through. I've been a huge fan for many years.

Samsung is the best on the market. I bought a bunch of these for a Point of Sale system because I needed to not worry about that coming back to haunt me. Samsungs do not break down as a general rule. Very Reliable.

Samsung SSD are reliable and excellent quality. They provide higher speeds compared to other brands with same specifics. They are good for RAIDs and are also easily available for cloning and imaging using the Samsung Acronis software

Excellent SSD. Data Migration tool (cloning) worked perfectly. I replaced the hard drive in my old very slow laptop. I thought the SSD would help a bit to speed up the old laptop. I was wrong, it made the old laptop so fast and like new. That laptop was probably never as fast as it is now, even when it was new. Even better, I bought this SSD on sale. Today I went to Best Buy to purchase another one. It isn't on sale now. So, I will wait until it goes on sale again. My rating for Quality and Ease of Use are both 5. At the regular price, I rated the Value at 4. When on sale, Value is a 5.
