I have a total of 4 of these throughout my laptops, desktops and even 1 as an external drive that I put in an enclosure. They are great drives. I have never had one go bad. If you use it for your computers. The boot up time for your OS is insanely fast. Just put one in my dads computer and he couldnt believe how much faster his computer runs now.

The Samsung 870 EVO 500 GB Hard Drive is now my C-Drive (system drive where Windows is installed) and my computer is so much faster! I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to speed up their computer! Samsung is a good quality brand for electronics. I have purchased both of my Samsung dual-monitors from Best Buy and purchased my Samsung 4K TV from Best Buy years ago and everything Samsung is still running great!

Once again an excellent product from Samsung, replaced my almost full 250 GB Samsung 860 with the new 870 EVO and it is faster than lightning. where my system used to take approximately Two and a Half Men it's to fully boot up from hitting the power button, it is now at my desktop ready to work within 15 seconds! Saving and opening very large files now happens basically in the blink of an eye.

I used this in a Dell R730 server to replace a dead main drive and have been very happy. It was an easy swap and moving to an SSD on an older server was extremely easy with this drive.

I purchased this to replace an old Toshiba hard drive that was failing. It would take over a minute just to boot. my sister in-laws laptop was very slow. turns out her HDD was constantly running at 100% compacity. I replaced it with this SSD & its running amazing. she felt like her Dell laptop is brand new again. Samsung has pretty good reviews on there SSD & for a very reasonable price.

Solid fast ssd for son's Acer laptop SATA bay. Had to install Acer chipset driver before Win 10 could detect the drive. Not Samsung's fault; I've used these drives in other laptops with no problems. Recommended.

It might be pricey but there is no price for not having to worry about losing your data. I have seen other SSD's fail much sooner than they should have. I can count how many Samsung's I have installed over the past 5 years (100's) that have failed on one hand. And when they did, the warranty process was easy and quick.

This thing came in so clutch I had found my old laptop and it was running super slower so I took it to geek squad and they said get this and it instantly fixed it highly recommend
