The hardest part of switching my desktop from its 500 GB hard drive to the Samsung 870 EVO was losing the game of hide-n-seek with the 2.5" mounting adapter that is still hiding in my boxes of junk in the basement. Fortunately, the EVO is so small and light that some bent paper clips worked fine. I am extremely happy with performance and will probably be getting a few more of these.

I purchased this SSD drive for a computer that had a physical hard drive in it that was, by time, getting ready to expire. It was recommended that I move to this drive for quicker access speed and overall better quality. This meets both. I highly recommend it!!!

Bought this SSD, to replace my 500gb hdd on my playstation 4. Dispite the Playstation 4, having old hardware / technology. This Samsung SSD made a difference on Loading time, and proformance difference. Just intill a get a deal on the ps5 or, startimg on my PC. Highly recommended this SSD, for any type of uses!

Upgraded 5 year old Lenovo laptop disk drive. The data migration software on the Samsung site cloned the old 1tb hard drive in about 20 minutes (150GB of data). Startup time went from over a minute to about 20 seconds. All around great purchase.

This 870EVO SSD is the latest version from Samsung. It works well and the controller is improved and is more compatible with various computer setups. Make sure you DL the Samsung Magician s/w and update the firmware (if needed). Of course it is not as fast as a NVMe drive, but it works well. If you can get for 60 bucks are less, it's a deal.

I was starting to have issues with my older Dell computer so i brought it in to be looked at by the Geek Squad. They recommended to replace the drive. We replaced with the Samsung 870 500GB SSD so far everything is running smoothly . I am pleased with the purchase.
