I swapped a defect 1T mechanical Tosiiba HD for this 500 GB SSD -- It is virtually instant load of Win10 -- used to take up to 3-5 minutes. The Geek service took less than a day. Just like having a new machine. Should have done this years ago instead of trying to save the old. And it was economical.

I'm having trouble with pc, I took it back 3 times just to find out it was the monitor lol. I bought the Acer because it was the lowest in price. Love it, you can't go wrong with it. I thought it wouldn't be big enough but it's perfect.

This SSD is outstanding and works excellently. I caught the sale and now much more costly (if you can find them). Great upgrade for better performance on your desktop or laptop. You may need to perform a "repair" to get Windows to adjust the BCD after cloning the original drive.

Replaced a mechanical HDD with this SSD to breathe new life into an aging desktop that belongs to my wife’s relatives. Didn’t bother cloning, did a fresh Windows install. This should get him by for a couple of more years. Stayed with Samsung for reliability.

I dont know much difference in the 870. I had a few 860 with same 500Gb in size. I cant say this is better than order version, but both model offers the same benchmark as 500mb+ read and 500mb +- write. Benchmark verys with older computers, so it does run fast as spec said +-.

Parents have a aging laptop that they are not ready to part with, was starting to slow down and sure enough was the old hdd. Used samsung's program and everything was cloned perfectly. laptop boots up quicker than when new.

I have an older laptop that needed some TLC and a pile of desktop parts that I finally put together into a machine. I got two of these Samsung EVO SSDs. Concerning the laptop, I'll quote Henry Frankenstein from the 1931 film. "It's alive!" The desktop is doing fine too.
