The value proposition isn't the best, though it's only a few bucks more than the best value/performance/reliability of the MX500 by Crucial. Samsung's generally considered as more reliable so it might be worth the five bucks extra or what not. If I can't find a MX500 I get this one.

Amazing drive makes every computer blazing fast, I love this product

This SSD is really fast. I used it to upgrade a customer's All in one that had a hard drive that died. They were super happy and said the computer ran faster than it ever did.

Like almost all Samsung drives it worked right out of the box with no problems. Speed was a great jump over the mechanical drive and also direct replacement for a laptop drive.

I have used Samsung SSD and NVMe drives for quite some time. They are very reliable in a variety of environments. I have not have one of them fail... Highly recommended.

No problems here it’s much faster that the hard drive I pulled out of my old iMac

I'm a big fan of Samsung SSDs. I've been using them for several years and have had great results. One of the nicer features (much to my surprise) is the software utility, Samsung Magician. I typically do not use the management apps that are included with most PC devices because they are nearly always of little value or add unnecessary resource drain. Magician, on the other hand, provides some fantastic features. The most impressive of these features to me is the Rapid Mode. It's sort of like a RAM disk but works differently and wow does it speed up drive operations, for a single Samsung SSD drive only though.

Great drive and the computer is much quicker than before.

I've generally been pretty happy with Samsung products and their SSD drives are no exception. The company just makes good stuff and is worth the pricing for the products.

A fantastic replacement for a failing boot SSD. the disk magician software made it extremely easy to clone my boot drive and substitute this one in to get up and running again.

Replaced a mechanical drive in a laptop with this. I definitely recommend downloading and using Samsung's Magician software to over provision it and speed boost it.

Was used to update my mother in-law's 7+ year old laptop from an HDD to an SSD - worked like a charm.
