Excellent performance! Easy install!! Nice price!!

It’s a good and cheap hard drive and works really well for it’s price and I would recommend this for any low to mid range pc’s

I just install this 870 EVO SATA 2.5 Internal SSD, and I can report that my Asus ROG G72GX a 12 year old computer bought here at Best Buy runs like it did when brand new. Shut downs and bootups are completed in 30 seconds, System run extremely fast. Great option.

The fifth Samsung Internal SSD I've purchases over the years, highly reliable. Please note that if you're cloning a drive, the latest migration software only supports Win 10 and 11. I was upgrading a Win7 machine and had to use an earlier version of the migration software, not hard to find, worked perfectly.

Reliable and easy to transfer data! Upgraded decade old laptop.

The drive seems to be working really well now, and has gained me speed on my old laptop for sure, but the cloning process was not fun. First of all, the samsung software was not on the drive, I had to download it separately. Then, it only allowed me to clone 3 of my partitions. Then when I physically swapped the drives, the machine would not boot. I had to then re swap the drives, re clone the c drive, using different software, and later, the remaining partitions. It worked fine this time, but the whole process took me like 12 hours.

PUT THIS IN MY WIFES LAPTOP LAST YEAR IT WORKS LIKE NEW

Uses in an older windows 8 laptop. The laptop went from being a snail to being a rabbit. Boot time and performance made the customer very happy. Money well spent.

I have had no problems with my PC since buying this product. It works faster and smoother. No more hanging, glitches, or slow motion.

Woks great drastically improved my loading speeds, it may be a small gb wise but pair it with a external hard drive. You practically have no load times and improved my ps4 pro pretty well.

Easy to install and use right out of the box, seems to be a durable lasting product, i have a few of them and have no complaints.

My wife's computer is a few years old and has a traditional HDD. The computer hardware is still ok, but after I had bought myself a new computer and experienced the performance of a SSD I knew I had to swap her drive out ASAP. She had always said her PC was fine and didn't need the upgrade, but I wouldn't have that. I looked over a few different drives prior to the Samsung, but I mean. I own so many Samsung products and haven't had an issue with any. I looked up reviews online and all looked well. I purchased the drive and cable needed for the data clone transfer. The drive came with its own software for the clone and it worked well. About an hour for the copy and I was able to take the laptop case apart easily enough and make the switch. Boot up went well. Much faster. After the initial boot, I ran some benchmarking and boy was it a huge difference. After she used the computer the following day, even she said it was a massive difference and thanked me for the insight. Good buy for sure.

saved an older laptop that had died. runs like new and boots in a flash. Too bad the lid screen wont work anymore but we just use it connected to a TV and stream and browse. would have liked to get 256g but none in stock I will likely get a couple more to improve older desktops.

I got it for my little brother when I was building him a pc Works as it should I have had a couple issues with mine but his is still strong I would recommend Samsung to anyone they have a app where you can transfer over everything which is nice

I always buy Samsung EVO SD drives, because there VERY reliable! To me, there rock solid, and fast enough for my needs. I experimented with other brands, but to me, Samsung has always prevailed.

The Samsung drive is fast, very solidly built and Quality is good and value i would give it a 10. Very easy to use, I use it in my Mac pro and i am very satisfied with its speed. I do music and video production so i need a fast drive, I would recommend this drive to a friend.

This SSD is the perfect cheap upgrade to any computer. I put this in my wife’s machine and was able to use the Samsung magician software to copy her old hard drive. Massive improvement!

I needed a new drive to store movies to playback on my tv. Once this was attached - it was very clear that this was fastet and much more responsive that my previous drive, which broke down. Quality for movie playback did not make too much of a difference, but the reading of files and indexing take no time. The only problem (for my use) is when files get deleted, the remaining space is not properly accounted for. That could be the tv's os conflicting, but who knows. I only deal with NVME drives, but these are good for storage and to start replacing mechanical drives.

Good price on quality product. I've used this brand/model before with good performance and no problems. This went into an older Windows 10 laptop that I converted to Linux Mint.
